The last few years of B&BW products have been disappointing.
Too many candy/fruity fragrances with no depth or mystery.
Pink Chiffon joins the failures;
its not bad, but just not that good.
It's a floral vanilla scent (B&BW trademark)
with no complexity... and once the initial opening fragrance
blooms..in the drydown there's nothing left. No afternotes.
Just formulaic... the crowds rush in whenever B&BW has
an 'event..' they give away freebies of newest scents,
but nothing is left to impress us.
B&BW used to have a wider variety of types of fragrances,
but everything seems to come out of a formula:
cocoanut..vanilla.. fruit...
come on B&BW- show us something really new..
don't just copy- in a cheap way- the expensive fragrances..
that the rock stars are selling...

Yuk...too cloying for me and gives me a headache...has a weird note like regurgitated pineapple or something...not my thing!

This is a wonderful lighly sented but long wearing lotion. The B&BW website describes the sent as:
"Our exclusive Pink Chiffon is a light-as-air pairing of soft pink petals & vanilla chiffon icing
Key Fragrance Notes: Sparkling Red Pear, Vanilla Orchid and Whipped Chiffon Musk"
I definately detect notes of Orchid, vanilla, and rose, so I would say the discription is pretty accurate. I would recommend trying the tester in store and getting the travel size, which for me lasts for a few months and is a great value.

I picked up this lotion along with the fragrance mist and the shower gel the day it came out. I love it! It's so fresh and floral smelling. It's a great everyday use!

I am in LOVE with this new fragrance. I wasn't sure I would like it, because I read several people compare it to Secret Wonderland, which just didn't work for me. I admit that there are some definite similarities there, but whatever the note was that went sour on me in Secret Wonderland, it's not here in Pink Chiffon. When I first put it on, I get almost a licorice/anise scent -- kind of like Pink Sugar does. This opening note doesn't last long on me. When it dries down, all I smell is something very fruity -- to me, it smells like strawberries, but I think it's actually the pear -- and cotton candy-like scent too. After it's been on my skin for awhile, it's pretty much alllllll vanilla with a hint of whatever the fruit is. It's just gorgeous, and the smell really lingers. I think it's one of Bath and Body Works' best new scents in the last couple of years -- which of course means it will be promptly discontinued. :p Guess I better stock up.

I admit that I was drawn to this product by the whimsical pink packaging. BBW's packaging looks better each year, now that I think of it. The website states that the key notes are vanilla, pear and musk, but I personally am having a hard time really pinning one note down. It's almost as if the "light-as-air" scent is left without a note to really anchor it down. Or at least that's what my nose perceives. I enjoy soft vanilla scents and was really hoping this would do the trick, but it really isn't as vanilla-y as I expected. More of a soft, fruity floral minus any fruit-punchiness.
The scent is pleasant and sweet, I must give it that, but I don't find it particularly unique. To me, I find it really similar to Paris Amour, and the fact that both products have pink packaging make them seem even more alike. I feel like Pink Chiffon fits into a family of BBW's new sweet florals: Paris Amour, Carried Away, Charmed Life, Country Chic and Winter Wonderland. If you like these scents, then do try this one out! You'll smell sweet and "nice" for sure. But if these scents have been leaving you wanting just a little more, then you might want to consider something else.

I returned my edt of this traded it for into the wild. Pink chiffon is an ok smell light very girly. It has no lasting power and its a waste of money the fine mist fragrance is worse lasting but I kept it anyway because I used so much of it trying to get it to last. I won't buy this again. Even the lotion fades quick. Waste of money!

Pink Chiffon is a lovely floral with some fruit and vanilla,smells like flowers,peaches,vanilla,will be nice for spring and summer...

This one is .50 more expensive then the other body lotions at bbws, got it today at the store and must say l smell the vanilla musk stronger and a sweet baby powdery cherry scent

Smells soo good. I enjoy the secret wonderland collection, and got this on a whim at checkout. I like it so much more than secret wonderland and forever sunshine, another favorite. I can't wait to buy the fragrance mist and get the full size lotion. PS. anyone know when this is coming to stores??

Smells like black licorice, sweet pea and the tiniest hint of vanilla. Simply wonderful and enticing.
I'm really looking forward to buying the set next month.
My favorite BBW scent so far. Very distinct.

I like the way this smells. Its very soft and easy to apply. I like that its not too sweet and I can wear it around my students and not make then sick. I'm looking forward to purchasing the set when it comes out.

I recieved this for $1 with my online purchase and I smelled it from the bottle and it made me sneeze. Something about it to me, smells a little spicy or something. Maybe its the musk... it kind of smells like black liccorice and fruit. It's a confusing scent to me.. fruity.. floral.. musky all in one. It smells OK I guess but not something I would purchase.

I got a mini bottle for free from a twitter coupon! It was selling for only $1 anyway but I probably wouldn't have bought it. This smells great on me. Some people are sensing a black licorice smell but I can really smell the fruit and floral notes on me. I'm a lotion fanatic so obviously I would want the big bottle. :) I have to agree with others though, it is a basic scent and not anything too different from Bath and Body Works. I've found that many of their scents are starting to smell as though they are made for younger girls. Pink Chiffon is perfect for a day when I want a great scent but not something too overpowering.

This smells very basic. Nothing exciting and it's not something that is a rush to buy. It seems like BBW is running out of ideas because everytime I smell something new I always wonder if it smells like something they already have or have had in the past. Because just like VS they will revamp the hell out of a product. This has the soft, girly sweet scent to it, but not sickening sweet, just a low key sweet similar to Sweet Pea. It would probably be a nice hand lotion to keep in your purse but to get a entire set of this to layer with, I wouldn't do it. There is nothing to this scent that is memorable. It really seems like the last five fragrances they have come out with I feel the same way about.

I got the $1 mini and the lotion itself is the same as the other BBW lotions, moderately moisturizing, nice texture. The scent reminds me SO much of VS Pure Seduction. I couldn't figure it out for a few days and then it finally clicked. It is slightly less sweet and a bit less in your face than PS, so some may like it more. It has a weird plasticky note when I first put it on that disappears after a few minutes. All in all, it's an astonishingly boring fruity floral...and I tend to like fruity florals.
