I LOVE this cleanser! At first, I hated the smell, but it's definitely grown on me. The warming effect is amazing and I get so many compliments on my skin now! It's reduced the size of my pores noticeably (I used to have orange rind skin on my cheeks!). I was without this cleanser for 2 weeks and I definitely noticed a difference in my skin. HG cleanser for me!

I've used this product for a couple of weeks and I've noticed a difference. My skin feels softer and smoother. The blackheads around my nose have reduced greatly.
I love this cleanser and I will be re-purchasing it when I've run out.

I received this as a sample during my last visit at Sephora. I like how it warms up when I apply it to my face, and I like the texture/consistency of it. My only qualm is the scent, it's borderline Aunt Jemima syrup, and it makes my stomach churn everytime I've used it (kind of goes away within 10-20 seconds). If I do buy it, i'll probably look into the ingredients before I make the decision. It's a nice first cleanse to remove my makeup before I go into my second cleanse. I've only used it for 2 days now, and I believe I can get another 2 from my sample (used am/pm) so I've got a couple days to form an opinion about it. For reference, i've got oily/acne-prone skin. But for no, I don't think i'd buy it.

I have sensitive skin and get the occasional acne break-outs and patches of dry skin from weather conditions or if I change the products I use on my face. This cleanser states it "warms" so I was expecting it to be as warm as the Olay thermal mini-peel. However, the warming is so subtle I don't really notice any warming when applying it to my face. The face cleanser smooths over my face with a low amount of foaming, it is more like a gel (as the packaging states). I have been using this product for about a week and I love how smooth and clean my face feels. After using the cleanser my face does not feel dry or become irritated. I have also not noticed any breaking-out as I thought my sensitive skin might. Overall, I thought this cleanser was well worth the money and will continue to update readers with my reviews.

I am the type of person who typically does not stick with one product for too long as the allure of a new product - whether new to me or new to the market - has a tendency to draw me in with its claims. That's precisely what happened with I came across this cleanser; it had all of the benefits that I look for in a facial cleanser and I didn't hesitate to purchase when I came across it at Sephora. I have combination oily skin that could use a blackhead vacuum, it's prone to blemishes, and has areas of discoloration (I'm so fair skinned that even a light freckle looks dark).

It's been almost 3 months since I purchased the Detoxifying Black Cleanser and am currently 1/4 of the way through my 2nd bottle. This cleanser is incredible and actually does what it claims to do, a rarity among facial products these days.

First, it's a gel, a consistency that usually doesn't work for me despite having combination oily skin. Every gel cleanser that I tried before this made my skin TOO dry - my oily t-zone was controlled but the rest of my face would be so dry it'd flake. That isn't the case here. This one makes my skin perfectly balanced. The warming effect is also pretty fantastic though admittedly it doesn't last for more than a couple of seconds. Second, it has eliminated my need to use a make-up remover before cleansing as it effectively washes away all traces including eye make-up!

I use this product morning and night and it makes my face glow, almost literally. My skin has NEVER looked as good as it does now. It's even in texture and my skin tone is improving every day. It hasn't eradicated my freckles or "dark spots" but they are slowly fading. The blackheads I had grown accustom to have diminished greatly and aside from a hormonal blemish or two during *that* time of the month I haven't had a breakout since I began use. Boscia's Detoxifying Black Cleanser gets two thumbs up from me!

Absolutely love this product. I have been using this cleanser for two weeks and the results are marvelous I can definitely say this is the best cleanser EVER!!! After use of this my skin is soooo smooth and soft I use this with the Clarisonic Mia and they are both a keeper....You must try it and my skin is rather sensitive and it works fine with it. You will not be disappointed with this product. Also the pump is designed to give you the amount you need love it love it love it

I love the warming sensation. It warms in my hands but doesn't while massaging on my face :(. I've only had a sample and used it twice so I can't tell if it has any benefits. All I know is that removes makeup and I may purchase the full bottle...

Although I have read nothing but good things about Boscia products, this was my first one, so I was wary. So far, I'm really pleased with this cleanser. It comes in a sleek, black, 5 oz. bottle with a pump. The cleanser itself is also a grayish black gel (the charcoal is what gives it this color). The cleanser has a slight warming effect upon contact with moist skin, which feels great. I've noticed that my complexion is a bit brighter over the past two weeks that I've used it. Definitely a re-purchase.
