I got this product because I was getting breakage due to back combing and thought this powder would save my hair however after applying this to my root it felt as if I put glue in my hair it felt very knotty and I couldn't comb it out I had to wash my hair straight after. Please save your money and don't buy this

I have limp and flat hair in general. My hairdresser showed me this little cutie - and I was more than impressed! It works, really, and it pumps up the volume! All you have to do is work it into your roots, fluff up your hair and bang, here the volume comes. The thing you need to be aware is that unless you use a small amount of it this may leave your hair with a sticky-residue feeling…For around $5, you can’t go wrong.

This hair powder is disgusting. In all honesty, it is easier to use a less gritty dry shampoo for lift to your roots and for oil absorbtion. You cant even brush you hair with this stuff in it! Will defo not be buying this again!

I normally have pretty good lift to my hair but I wanted a little more. After using this I had someone ask if I did something different to my hair. She said it looked great and had so much body on top. Easy to use, easy to reactivate after a few hours. Feels a bit weird on your fingers but not bad. Will definitely repurchase when I run out.

My hair is thin and limp on top and it's a struggle to get volume. This stuff works for me. It took a few tries to get the application method down. What ended up working best was parting my hair in a few key areas and lightly VERY lightly sprinkling the product in at the roots then working it in with my finger tips. Holding the bottle at an angle and tapping it with my index finger instead of shaking it like a salt shaker work. Also, I keep my hand moving instead of stopping while I tap. The packaging makes even application a breeze. Yes it is sticky at first and yes if you over use it it will become a matted mess. It really only takes a small amount. One tip is after working it a little flip your head upside down and really work it in. The first few times I'm pretty sure I used too much and I had to really shampoo hard to get it out. Now that I have the application down pretty good it washes out like any other product.

So long have I been envious of all the girls who are able to pull off the trendy bump in their hair. By bump I mean more like 1950/1960 good hair bumps not bad 2000's snookie hair bump. I just love the look of voluminous hair weather in a pony tail or just down Ive always been huge fan of this hair style.
I tried for years with every hairspray you can name and have probably permanently damaged my hair from the vigorous back combing with my "little wonder" brush and tiny teasing combs trying to ensure that it would last for more than five minutes...
but every time I get the same result, iIt didn't matter if it down and straight or in a ponytail or being forced up with bobby pins the backcombed knots would start to fall down in my hair because I have fine silky hair that has no texture to hold the knots in place. Even if I soak it in hair spray Ill just end up with gross embarrassing mattes halfway down my hair.
This is a miracle! it has made it possible to get the hott 50's look. I just shake a little in my roots when I'm teasing my hair I shake it on every individual layer that I'm backcombing. I used it today and got so many compliments at works and girls wanting suggestions on how I got so much volume!
The best part my HEB had them on clearance for $1.88!! After I bought the first one I went back to the store and got 4 more to stock up because I know I will be using his for a LONNNGGG time to come. I think I might send one to my mom and sister!

OMG, so on you tube I heard about Got 2b product, Powderful. I saw it at WalMart and bought it on impulse, this stuff is amazing and weird. You shake the powder either in your hands or directly on the roots and rub your roots and it gives incredible volume. I opted to shake the powder directly on my roots and yes it does dissapear so you don't end up with a white-ish color on your roots. I have long medium almost fine hair. Hairspray could never make my volume last. It feels weird in my hair at first, but worth it. I put it in my hair on a Sunday night and the best part is that it is some how is controlling the oil as of today, Tuesday. I keep messing w/ my hair to revive the volume and usually this would make my hair more oily, but not this time. Normally by now my 2nd day hair would be greasy but it’s sooo not! I like it, so… jic you are looking for something to control hair grease and give volume. I would not buy something more expensive.

I love this stuff! Such a bargain too. I use it on my bangs for when I do a "bump". I find when I use hairspray when I am doing the bump, it messes it up. All I do is put some of this powder in my bangs and pull them back & twist & push up & my bump turns out perfect. I then spray with hairspray to keep it set all day. I have tried high end brands of this stuff & to tell you the truth, I like this better. And it is a third of the price! continued >>

I agree with the other reviewer who said this makes your hair feel sticky. BUT it makes it look good! Any time that my roots are really flat or if I overdo conditioning, I reach for this. It will bring volume right back, but I do hate the way it feels! you only need very little and I sprinkle it directly on my roots. Definitely good to have around for special occasions but would not use regularly.

I don't know how this has so many positive views.
I think it's horrible. I have really fine hair and when I apply this it makes my hair feel disgusting!!! It leaves a really gross feeling and look on my hair. I hate this. My hair actually feels so gross.
