Orly Stone Cold is from Orly's mineral fx collection. I actually got this polish super cheap at TJ Maxx a couple of months ago and when I saw it in the bottle I didn't really think much of it, but it was cheap so I figured why not buy it, if I don't like it then oh well no big deal. When I finally got around to trying it, I was so surprised because it was gorgeous and the shimmer in it really stands out. This is probably easily one of my favorite blue shimmer that I have. I am writing this review about a month or two after actually trying it, so I can't really comment specifically on it's formula since I don't clearly remember, but I know for sure that if it would have had a bad formula and I had trouble with application I would've remembered that. This is definitely a polish that I will be reaching for in the future, so if you can still find it then I totally recommend purchasing it, it's gorgeous.
Orly's Stone Cold is from the Mineral FX collection. I got this for a very cheap, wonderful sale price at Sally Beauty. This is a gorgeous, bright cobalt blue glass fleck polish with lots of shimmer and shine. The shimmer flecks in Stone Cold are larger than in most shimmer polishes, and this is what makes it really stand out from the rest. This blue gets my nails noticed and looks great on my pale NW20ish skintone. I'm a fan of Orly's big bottle and rubberized cap, I find it very stylish. However, I'm not a fan of the brush. It was just not what I was expecting at all - too round and hard to work with. I found the formula of this polish to be a bit thick, but still rather easy to work with. Achieved opacity in 2 coats and it looks great! I found that these finishes do not wear well on me, so I will edit my review to update wear time. Overall, a gorgeous, flashy blue. Definitely unique in my collection.
I love this nail polish! It is so pretty in the bottle and on the nail. Its a true blue with mico flakes in it. So much depth in it. I thought this would be like CGs Frost Bite, but its nothing like it all, I mean color wise, SC is much more opaque, it is also similiar to CGs Blue Years Eve, except BYEs has tiny purple glitter in it and its darker, I like SC much much more. It really stands out on my skin tone. Its like a BAM color in your face but at the same time classy and fun. I even got a back up of it. I like wearing now in the winter cant wait to rock it in the summer.
