I'm truly surprised. I've used E2K mascara before. When the SA did a makeover on me, she used E2K lengthening and it looked good. I bought two. Well, I don't get the same results at home, that's for sure. Lashes don't look full until they look gunky and the lengthening isn't that much. But worst of all, it flakes. It flakes like a mofo. I don't remember E2K or even E2K Excess flaking but this is all over my face. And if I'm not looking in the mirror every 10 minutes, I'm walking around with what looks like little bits of soot on my face. Sorry, Armani. I have a lot of your products (e/s quads, l/s, maestro liq l/s, eyeliner, skincare) and love it but this mascara, for me, is a fail.

It is a very good day wear mascara especially if you want that polished look in the office.
The trick is you have to work it out how to apply it because its brush has a shape of feather. Makeup artist advices me to apply it with it's ridge side and then 2nd coat with its flat side.
But the thing is it is much better mascara then GA eyes to kill excess mascara. It has heavy luxury packaging and gives both length and texture to lashes, defining them at the same time.
It is just Perfect for day wear but for evening you need something heavier like Dior Show or Lancome Hypnose.Xx

I got this mascara in the Eyes to Kill essentials set. I love it but I think is the exact same thing as the original Eyes to Kill, brush looks the same and formula feels the same. My lashes look amazing after I use this, they look longer and more defined, but one thing I don't like about it is that it ends up smearing a little at the end of the day :( oh well everything can't be perfect.

Overall this is quite a nice mascara that does give a a natural look to the eyelashes. It is very black and the applicator seperates the lashes and does not clump. It does leave my lashes feeling soft. But having said that, the lenghtening properties it has are not great at all. It doesn't "stretch" my eyelashes to great lenghts like it claims to do at all. It is a lovely product for natural everyday make up, but definitely does not give you dramatic supermodel eyelashes. It is very comperable to the Sublime de Chanel mascara and within the same price range. I personaly think it's overpriced for what it actually does. I still prefer Diorshow iconic mascara for that very defined eyelash look, as it lenghtens and holds my curl much better for the 30 euro I have to pay for it.

I am asian with short stubby eyelashes. This mascara lenthens and thickens my eyelashes like nobody else business. It also curl my eyelashes without using eyelash curler and keep the curl all day without flaking or smudging. ( I have very oily skin ). It can be wipe off easily also with olive oil or a makeup remover. The MU at Armani counter showed me how she applies this mascara. First she uses the tip of the applicator to lenthen and thicken the eyelashes. Then uses the whole length of the applicator to brush the eyelashes upward to give the eyelashes a curl. The result is perfection. After years of looking for a perfect mascara for me from drugstore brand to HE, I finally found my HG. Just awesome!

I thought nothing would surpass my love of the original Eyes to Kill, but this may do it. I've used Eyes to Kill Excess and it was a disappointment, so I had doubts about trying another version of the original. But new mascaras are my weakness so I had to give it a go.

This made my already long lashes even longer. Not scarily long in that spindly, sparse way. Long in a beautifully fanned out, fluttery way. I wasn't expecting much in the volume department (even though I do need it!) but surprise, surprise: volume. I really can't even find much difference between the volume in the original and the volume in this one, so that's pretty fantastic. The added volume is dense but not clumpy, thick but not heavy. Very defined and separated too. I bought #1-black and the color is extremely pigmented and rich. It holds a curl perfectly, which is a big issue for me.

I think the formula feels lighter than the original, and I prefer this brush as well. The brush is flat with a tapered tip and wide, soft bristles on either side. I haven't seen a similar brush but it didn't feel awkward or anything applying it. It seemed to catch all the lashes easily, even the inner ones near the tear duct. It didn't flake, smudge, or transfer. And the curl was still intact even after 16 hours. No scent that I can make out. Washes off with my regular facial cleanser. The packaging is the same as the other Eyes to Kill formulas but with a brushed, matte gold finish.

Every time I catch a peek of my eyes in a mirror I'm thrilled with how lush my lashes look. It gives me a more wide eyed effect. This is a new HG mascara for me.

My HG mascara for several reasons: Though the emphasis is on lengthening, I find it separates, lengthens, thickens and even curls my lashes without clumping, and it does not dry stiff. I love the blue grey color for my blonde lashes / blue eyes. My lashes, which barely show on their own, are obvious and pretty with this mascara. The brush is quite unique and easy to work so the mascara doesn't get all over my eyes. It wears very well - I get some minimum smudging, but my eyes water quite a bit from allergies. Though it wears well it's not too difficult to remove. I have previously enjoyed mascaras from Lancome,Chanel, YSL, and the eyes to kill from GA, which were very good mascaras, but this one is really excellent. I hope they eventually get it in other colors - they have a gorgeous bronze color in some of their other mascaras.

Okay, I just want to start by saying I'm not a huge HE mascara person. I usually just grab something from the DS, but I genuinely love this mascara.

I've tried the original EtK but it didn't give as much length and separation. I have naturally thick lashes so I want more length in general. I also abhor clumping and I find this mascara doesn't clump on me. The brush is unique, but not too crazy unique where I have hold it an exact way first thing in the morning to get it to go on YKWIM. It's like a normal wand but flattened, so it looks sort of smooshed on top and bottom. I use the side to apply mascara and doing that give me really long, feathery, dark black lashes.

As with all the EtK the tube itself is actually really nice. Which is quite rare. There usually isn't much difference in packaging between HE and DS. The top, with the wand, is actually a bit heavy, so it's a really comfortable feel when you apply it.

This mascara ultimately bothered my sensitive eyes so I had to stop using it.
