Since all the packaging/price has been heavily reviewed, I'm just going to talk about color.
I wanted to like Bad to the Bronze so bad. SO BAD. It had been raved about in Allure magazine and everyone seemed to love it. Texture is very creamy and it honestly does stay on all day. I tried time and time again to get the color to look natural but it's too frosty/shimmery for my taste. I think I expected more of a darker color (hence the name "bronze") but it turned out to be more of a gold pink color. I attempted to use it as a brightener on my water line and that didn't work out either.
"Tough as Taupe" was a matte, flat gray that didn't look natural or appealing.
"Pomegranate Punk" was a beautiful red/purple color but I can't see myself wearing that for an every day look or even going out since I am partial to a smokey eye.
I wish this line had more natural colors because I really do enjoy the sturdy packaging and texture.

I have tried these out, and overall, I like them. I think that they are a great option and work very well as a base or if you just need a swipe of colour. I do feel that these are an affordable option for anyone who wants to play around with colour.
I will say though, that I prefer paint pots. I might chance my mind if they came out with colour that is comparable to Painterly though. .
I also feel that these feel a little dryer than paint pots. Only time will tell though.

Overall a very good product. I've never liked powder eyeshadows so when these cream shadows came out I was excited to try them. I own Tough as Taupe and Bad to the Bronze and both of these are AMAZING. I use Bad to the Bronze occasionally for just an all over lid color and sometimes smudging it all around my eye and I use Tough as Taupe along with Groundwork by MAC to create a smokey sort of look and it turns out amazing!
I do have a paint pot (as mentioned above) so I can do a comparison. They're both very creamy and go on smooth. Neither of them ever crease on me until about 5 or 6 at night (I apply my makeup at around 6:30 in the morning and am usually too lazy to use primer) so they both last over 12 hours on their own, but the color tattoos seem to fade a bit quicker. But I do have oily eyelids and the pigmentation is nice. Bad to the Bronze is a very pretty, shimmery bronze color and Tough as Taupe looks grey in package but when it applies, it's a matte brown-grey color. But anyway, it's very true to color and I will probably end up repurchasing them until they're discontinued.

This is pretty good, bought it for 5 bucks on Ebay. I expected it to be a little less greasy, but it still stays on quite long. I have the purple one, the color is so bright i love it! The packaging is cool looking too, that was actually one of the reasons why i bought it. I will probably stick to my powder based shadows most of the time, but do like this and will wear it on occasion :)

I absolutely love this. So far I only have Too Cool and it is amazing both on its own and as a base. It lasts a long time. I've had it on for 12 hours+ and it only faded a bit.
My friend bought this one night and she fell in love and recommended it. And I'm so glad she did! I've had it for a month and a half, use it everyday and I still haven't hit pan.
I got it while it was on sale to which made it even better. I like the packaging and as weird as it sounds the smell. It's easy to apply and the only downfall IMO is that it does crease a bit. I would totally buy Too Cool again or any of the others.

I haven’t typically used cream shadows because they’ve so often creased on me in the past, and I haven’t worn shimmery shadows for years because they’re considered unflattering to those of us who’ve reached “a certain age,” but after reading a number of the enthusiastic reviews here, I decided to experiment with the Bad to the Bronze, and since my local drugstore was having a 2nd-one-for-half-price sale on Maybelline cosmetics, I picked up the Too Cool, as well. I’m so glad I did, because these shadows have now become the basis of my daily makeup routine. I use Too Cool to lighten the Bad to the Bronze by mixing them in an approximately 1:3 ratio between the tips of two fingers, which warms the cream sufficiently to make it extremely easy to spread across my entire lid, right up to the brow bone, and (as mixed) it’s the perfect, warm shade for me as a base. I then take a tiny bit more Bronze on the clean tips of my little fingers, rub them together to emulsify and warm the shadow, then lightly smooth those fingertips along the crease. I use a crease brush to blend the edges, then usually touch the clean tips of two other fingers very lightly into the Too Cool, again rub them together to warm and emulsify the shadow, then blend that tiny amount into the previously applied base along my brow bones and the inside my lids, to lighten and highlight. I use Jesse’s Girl eye primer, and so far I haven’t experienced any creasing at all, even after 12 hours or more of wear. I’ve been so pleased that I’ve purchased most of the rest of the colors and often use Audacious Asphalt, Pomegranate Punk, or Tough as Taupe to deepen my crease color and/or to do my “Outer V,” usually blended to some degree first with Bad to the Bronze. Although I always apply my Outer V color with a brush, I find that warming and emulsifying these shadow(s) first between two fingertips greatly increases the smoothness of applying them with the brush, which thus diminishes tugging on my eyelids, as well as increases ease of blending along the borders. I’ve also purchased Bold Gold, which I sometimes apply very, very lightly as a highlighter to the center of my lids in the evening, as well as a couple of the more vivid colors, which I usually tone down by mixing with the Bronze or the Taupe for an added layer of surprisingly subtle lid color, depending on what I’m wearing and where I’m going, and when so mixed, the "shimmery" aspect has been fairly subtle, IMO. The best price I’ve found for these so far is at Bed, Bath and Beyond, where they’re only $4.99! All in all, these are a very useful, wearable, economical selection even for we ladies of “a certain age”.

I was really hoping for something awesome with these and unfortunately, no dice.
I bought Tenacious Teal and had applied it on clean lids. I don't have oily lids, and this creased pretty horribly. My Urban Decay cream shadow lasts longer and stays creaseless. I didn't even feel like keeping this as a base, I was just too disappointed. It only lasted about 3 hours on me before it began patchy fading, creasing and smudging all over. I wanted to like it, but I'll stick to my regular products.
From all the good reviews, I guess I must have gotten a bad product, I don't know. I won't get it again though, it's kind of pointless.

I must say I love this product for the most part! The first two shades I bought were Audacious Asphalt and Painted Purple. I really loved Audacious Asphalt and thought the sparkle in it was super fun, though I found Painted Purple to be a bit streaky, so I definitely have to put shadow over it. I still loved the product in general so I bought Tough as Taupe and Too Cool and both are awesome. I use these without a base and I find they last all day and don't crease on me. I've even recommended these to friends and they love it! I would definitely repurchase and am seriously considering buying more colours in the future.

I have 5 of these, I thought they were going to be staples, holy grails in my collection, but no, I think they're too shimmery to use everyday, and you need to play around with other wyeshadows to pull a good look. I am giving them 4 lippies because they do last loooong and water resistant.

i bought the gold, taupe, and teal colors of this product, and i really like them. i think that these are a good alternative to buying more expensive eyeshadow bases, especially in bright colors that might not get much use. I bought the teal color to wear under my blue eye shadows that i don't use very often, and for about $7, it didn't break the bank. I will say that these will crease if worn on their own, particularly the taupe one. this doesn't bother me, because i almost always put (at least) a wash of color over my eyeshadow base. i do have oily eyelids, but i find that if i put a wash of powder eyeshadow over these they will last all day. Some people have said that the gold and teal ones are too shimmery or glittery, but i find that this can be toned down to almost unnoticeable if you apply the right eyeshadow over top.

I'll admit...for a Maybelline product, I'm pretty impressed. These are definitely comparable to MAC paint pots for a more affordable price. Some of the formulas are creamier, more opaque while a few others are sheer. I don't use these as an eyeshadow by itself, but rather as a coloured base. You can usually pick these up on sale at Ulta or Walgreens, so the price isn't bad. I wouldn't buy again, simply because I own too many other bases :)

First of all, this cream eyeshadow lasts a long time. I swatched it on my arm before I went to bed last night, and it's still there a good 12 hours later, so the long-lasting aspect of it is definitely true. However, the shadow has too much shimmer in it, so it really shows any fine lines or imperfections you may have. The packaging is a little heavy, as it's made of glass, but it looks pretty, so that's a plus. I would generally recommend this to someone, but mostly just as an eyeshadow base. The white color makes any pigment you put on top of it pop like crazy, so I'd definitely say use it as a base for any vibrant eye look you want.

I normally dislike cream shadows/liners, but there are no other that compares to these. The colors are super vibrant and lasts just fine without any primer whatsoever. I know that you're supposed to be able to use this as a base and with other shadows, but the colors are just so beautiful that I always end up using them as single washes! Will definitely repurchase!

I got this cream eyeshadow in Edgy Emerald to wear for a look on St. Patrick's Day and I loved it. It's got great pigment, lasting power (I always use primer, though), and the color was beautiful on my skin. It might take some time to build up the color, though: I used my fingers to apply it at first, and then a flat eyeshadow brush to pat on more color. I would recommend setting the cream with a powder eyeshadow to prevent creasing, however. I think these are pretty high quality for the price. I hope to get the Taupe color soon.

Eyes: Oily most things crease on my eyes almost straight away without a primer.

I have these in Immortal Charcoal/Audacious Asphalt and Permanent Taupe/Tough as Taupe.

I bought these after wanting a grey eyeshadow and reading reviews on theses and thought they looked great. I was only slightly disappointed with the shade range and names that the UK got after seeing the American ones

Permanent Taupe in the jar looks like a light to mid cool toned matte brown, when its applied its a lovely matte grey with a bit of brown to it.
This shadow applies smoothly and evenly, its easy to blend out. this shadow lasts 12 hours on me with out a primer. after that it creases but fades evenly.

Immortal Charcoal in the jar looks like a dark shimmery grey with slight green undertones. this shadow applied looks a deep dark true grey with the shimmer being less noticeable. This shadow is really creamy and easy to blend (easier than PT).It lasts about 8 hours without a primer on me than creases and fades slowly and evenly. this shade is perfect for a one shadow Smokey eye.

Other things I have heard people comparing these shadows to Benefit creaseless cream shadows and say that these are similar but Benefit last longer without creasing or fading on me.

I would defiantly buy again the quality is amazing.

I wouldn't say these are quite as good as paint pots, but I will say for the price difference, this isn't a bad purchase. The color selection is nice, although it would be great if there were more neutrals to choose from. With a primer, I find that they last a long while and the pigmentation I find to be great. I do tend to get creating, as expected with most cream shadows, but for the price I will probably purchase other colors.

I must be the only person not impressed by these eyeshadows. For all the rave reviews, I was expecting a LOT more pigmentation and blendability. Maybe it's just my eyes ....

I tried these in blue, green, bronze, gold, white, gray, and taupe. Yeah, totally jumped the gun. The blue swatched beautifully on my hand, looking pigmented and refusing to leave. But everything swatches beautifully on fingers and hands and then fails to live up to its promises on eyes. Is it just me? These aren't very creamy on the eyes, there isn't much color payoff, and there is zero blendability. Particularly the gold and bronze, I can't seem to get ONTO my eyes to actually see them. As another reviewer mentioned, they made my eyes look dirty and felt greasy. Ugh. I've tried with and without primer and base, and I have dry skin so its not that they can't stick to oily eyelids. I tried using the blue as an eyeliner directly ... no luck there either, kept coming out woefully sheer.

MUCH too subtle for what I was looking for. Save your money - these are NOT MAC paint pot dupes. The texture and payoff of these makes me feel like they should have been bought together in a halloween novelty palette from the dollar store that has perhaps been sitting around a few years too long.
