Bought the tinted version and still can't really justify my purchase.
It's a good setting and touch up powder with a great natural finish. At about NC35/40 I see a color payoff, and it will adjust the coloring of your makeup towards red, giving a tanned and maybe sunburnt coloring. Which I like, given my foundation is a bit yellow at the moment.
With that aside, It's container is probably the only factor keeping this product in the pocket at this point. It's incredible, and one giant leap towards a great direction. I've got too many beaten and broken cases to attest to that; everything from l'oreal to chanel, and not a lovely, durable, and rubberized case between them.
Really should've been a matter formulation, I found myself blotting more than usual. Plus all the natural oils and extracts give it an off-putting manufactured and medicinal odor. I don't see the point to such a lovely compact with a natural finish and a scent reminiscent of one of my grandma's ointments.
I had used the original Mineral Veil, and thought it was just fine. However, when I tried the new Ready Foundation, I found it washed me out despite being a color that matched my skin perfectly. I decided to try the Tinted version of this Mineral Veil underneath the Ready Foundation and WOW, my Ready Foundation no longer makes me look like a ghost! Everything looks incredibly natural, and the staying power of my foundation has been increased exponentially. I can almost go a whole day without touching anything up!
I'm very impressed with this, especially as a very fair-skinned person. The tinted adds just enough warmth to my face to make my foundation look very natural. I've already purchased a back-up for my current compact!

I keep this in my handbag and take it everywhere with me. It is a great touch up and you don't need to reapply foundation after using this. It reduces the oilyness of the skin and overall GREAT!
I have this in tinted as I have darker skin and thought I would get more coverage than the translucent!

I have never been a fan of Mineral Veil, but I thought I'd give the pressed version a try. I think I'm pretty impressed with it! No matter how lightly I apply the "Translucent" one, I think it still looks a little ghastly on me. I have been using the Tinted one, and it really works well for me. I use the Ready foundation in Golden Medium. If you hold this and the foundation side by side, I think the Tinted Mineral Veil actually looks a little darker than the foundation. But since I apply it so lightly, I don't see any noticeable difference after applying. I find that I don't really care for the puff that comes with it. I keep the little plastic protector over the powder so the puff isn't resting on the product. I suppose, on the go, the puff is pretty convenient. But when I'm at home putting my face on in the morning, I usually just apply this with a brush and the finish is very natural. There is slight smell, but it doesn't bother me, and it goes away pretty quickly. Based on how little product I need each time I use it, I think it will last a long time and is worth the price!

This product mostly has cons for me. The packaging gets dirty easily - I don't buy NARS cosmetics anymore because the black, rubbery compacts always look dirty. There isn't a separate compartment for the powder and the puff, and it feels unsanitary to store the puff on the powder. When applied, it looks thick. I generally feel pretty cakey and powdery after I apply this. It does take away shine and leave the skin matte, but I'd rather have a lighter powder with a more natural finish. You can really tell you laid down some powder. I might keep this around for emergencies, but it's not a go-to powder at all.

I nearly gave this 1 lippy the first time I used it, but that was because I used it over another foundation and they just didn't go together ended up with dry flakey skin and I'm very oily really!. Next day I gave it another go with my loose are minerals and I've worn it all day now and my skin still looks flawless and shine free!. So now I know what suits me I love it!. The Compact is really well made and the large mirror is a huge plus point. We haven't had the ready foundation bought out in England yet so if that is as good I can't wait to try it!

I have VERY oily skin, and have tried tons of products but have never found anything that even begins to control it. So I went to Sephora looking for new makeup, and the lady recommended this along with the Tarte amazonian clay foundation. And boy am I impressed! This goes on so smoothly and leaves my face looking and feeling soft and absolutely flawless! It does a great job at controlling oil, and I don't look slick and greasy after just a few hours! I do have to blot and reapply later on in the day, but much less often than I used to. And it touches up well. Most powders I have used just look cakey and disgusting after reapplying, and this one looks like I just finished getting ready. So long story short, I love it and will definitely be buying again!

The packaging is honestly so cute at first but it got ugly from getting finger prints all over it xD. Okey this product is AMAZING at oil control and it doesn't cake if you use a little bit of it. The only reason I give this 3 lippies is because the color selection sucks! I got the Tinted version of this and it's WAY too dark. I only use this to touch up throughout the day when my nose gets oily and it turns out that my nose is darker then my whole face. No, just no, this will be just sitting inside my makeup bag for now.
As much as i love their mineral foundation, i am really disappointed at this touch up veil. I saw this product on Bare Escentuals website and saw the rave reviews from customers, and i love the added SPF15 in it, so i went ahead and purchased it. I got the translucent but it hardly "translucent" at all, it goes on so white and cakey (i use "light" shade from BE), it makes my pores look obvious and larger. I wish i kept the receipt so that i can return it. This powder do not worth the $22 price tag.
