The color is pretty but expensive. I'll only try the lip butters when they are buy 1 get 1 half off.

This product is exactly as it says it is, a tinted lip balm. I cannot stand lipstick. I never wear it and it always made my lips dry. I had watched and read several positive reviews on here and the Tube and also watched videos showing the different swatches. I LOVE this stuff. Its packaged like a lipstick but it feels like a glossy balm combo. Its very smooth and creamy. It has even improved the condition of my lips. Before i would always were the lip gloss you apply with a wand and the colored/flavored balm and it always still made my lips feel dry afterwards and would have to apply more and more. After using this my lips are always soft and moisturized now. The colors and not bold like stick so if you want more color you can simply apply more. I have Creme Brulee which is the nude, its like a golden nude on me which i love to where with my smoky eyes and at night. I also have Creamsicle which is a very light yet kinda bright pink. I love this one and doesnt need a lot to color. Next ones i wanna get are Peach Parfait for a glittery summer color and Strawberry Shortcake for a not so bright light pink. I got my butters from Rite-Aid for $7.49 but that was right after they came out.

NC25 Chinese, low to semi pigmented lips.
When I wear pink toned blushes, this is my go to lipstick / balm! I still want to try Lollipop and Tutti Fruitti, then I probably will be done w/ this line.
I have worked my way thru many of the lip butters (and blushes to coordinate). Have passed on Peach Parfait (glitter bomb), Candy Apple, Red Velvet, Raspberry Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Cherry Tarte.

I recently purchased this color, and Im in love with it ! I had to go back to get another as an back up.
The color is a nice light pink with some sheen in it. When i saw the packaging I thought the color would be highly pigmented, but as you apply it to your lips it'll lighten up. This product is buildable and the color looks amazing ! It glided on my lips, and feels hydrating but the word " lip butter" is kind of over exaggerating the product because it didn't moisturize my lips that much. The downside is that the color seems to fade after a few hours, and the hydration lasts for a few hours too. I have to reapply it to get that hydrating feeling again. Overall, this product has colors and does hydrate the lips for a few hours, and the packaging has a nice weave and it's not flimsy.

Got this in Sweet Tart and LOVED it. CVS had a special - $6.00 for the Lip Butters - buy $12.00 and get Extra Bucks of $4.00. That put them at $4.00 each. I LOVE these lip butters. I got Cotton Candy and Cupcake this time. I usually stick with pinks, but I am sure they are all fantastic!

Love it. I love the Revlon lip butters I think they moisturize really well and have decent staying power. I like this color personally it is frosty but I have black hair and green eyes and like the pink or lilac frost for me, but could be tricky to pull off with different coloring.

Never thought I could pull off a pink as it always manages to look ridiculous on me but this is sheer enough that it doesn't look garish but pigmented enough that it shows. It's a great balance, indeed. I like how moisturizing it is, and though I wish it had a bit more lasting power, I'm not holding that against this product because it never did claim to be longwearing. I'm all over this product and will buy this and Brown Sugar for as long as they're in production. I do enjoy wearing a couple swipes of Cotton Candy and one swipe of Brown Sugar over it. I find that to be the best, most flattering color in the world for me. Hope that helps for all you caramel divas reading this.

Meh...it's OK. The color is alot frostier than I had expected. Doesn't really do it for me. It was also not as buttery or moisturizing as I had expected.
Won't be repurchasing.

I was really dying to try these lip butters because they were being raved about & every one I have tried has disappointed me. When I tried this color I looked like I had on play makeup a 5 year old would use. Actually, they all look like that on. continued >>

After months of stalking my local drugstore, I finally found a lip butter. Needless to say, I'm quite disappointed after all the hype. The color is simply too sheer for my skin tone. It doesn't look like I'm wearing anything on my lips. Read: pigmentation is terrible. In terms of staying power, the wear is okay. Since you don't get much product, I tend to use it quite sparingly. This really does feel smooth and buttery on your lips though. I do like that it's very moisturizing. The packaging is also cute and chic! I really like that there is a window so you can see the actual color of the product. Price-wise, there is pretty expensive for what it's worth. I do like the other Revlon lip lines so I had high hopes for the lip butters. Unfortunately, I won't ever repurchase Cotton Candy again (waste of $8) but I'll still give the more pigmented colors a chance.

Many people seem to rave about these Lip Butters, but I don't see why. The texture feels just like rubbing a stick of butter or wax on my lips -- yuck! It doesn't stay on, and then my lips feel drier than if I hadn't bothered at all. Also, I did not care for the Cotton Candy shade. I have a light skin tone, but even on me, Cotton Candy is lighter than my natural lips, making me look washed out as a result. I like the texture & colors of Cover Girl Natureluxe Lip Balm better -- and it's basically the same price. continued >>

I got this at a Walgreen's BOGO sale along with Cherry Tart and this is definitely my favorite of the two. Yes, it's sheer, but that's what I love about it. It's gives a soft, glossy, shimmery pink lip that's perfect when you're going for an effortless casual look. I might come back and give it 5 stars if I start wearing it every day (and that cold happen). If you're not looking for strong color, but rather the illusion of color, you'll probably like this.

I really like my lip butter! This shade enhances my natural lip color and is hydrating which is what I was going for. Please note, this is not meant to be a lipstick but rather a hydrating balm with sheer to medium color payoff. Try matching a color with your natural lip shade.

I got this after a review where I saw it was a pink with gold reflects and thought it would look very nice with my skin tone (I have the color of Beyonce&Alicia Keys). When I tried it on alone I didn't like it. Really sheer and with the golf flecks makes my lips look really ashy. However I'm not gunna throw it out because I'm thinking it'll look great over a pink lipliner or lipstick. I'm going to play around and see what I get. I'd recommend this to girls lighter than I am. continued >>

Of the lip butters I bought I thought this would be my least favorite and it ended up my favorite. Really nice color for someone who is very light. Not too overpowering. I like the creamy feel and the MLBB look. Very natural and flattering!

I bought this color based on a review. Someone mentioned that this was a "universal" pink and would go well with any skin tone. I have trouble wearing pinks, and should have know this one was going to be too cool. The good thing is that it provides just a small amount of color. I mixed it with Peach Parfait, which made it workable on my yellow, orange skin tone. I will not buy this color again...

After reading and hearing so many great reviews about this product, I decided to give it a try. I spent about $8 on it and I really do regret it. First off, the shade is so sheer that it barely even looks like you're wearing anything on your lips. It leaves a waxy feeling- not moisturizing, like I would have expected. It also only lasts for barely even over an hour before I have to re-apply. At least it doesn't dry out my lips like other lip products have done for me in the past. I definitely will not be purchasing again.

I really like this. lasting power is pretty good for me and it really makes my lips feel soft. I am not a huge fan of lipsticks and would much rather wear something low maintenance. the color is a sheer (but very buildable) barbie pink. it's not too loud and definitely wearable for my every day look. the only things I don't like: for the price in Canada, you're not getting very much product. also it's a little bit shimmery/sparkly for my liking, but I would still buy again.

I'm loving this lip butter! Its a cool toned barbie pink. As a color reference, I'm half asian NC20/25, and I would consider myself warm or neutral toned.
This color looks very pretty pink (not really mauvey) on me. It is definitely cool toned. The formula is great, it has the comfort and sheen of a lip balm, with a much better pigmentation. Hope this line becomes permanent!
