I adore this product! I have never bought anything Soap & Glory before but after this experience I definitely will. In England this eyeliner is sold for £5, which I think is extremely reasonable. It also comes with a sharpener within the packaging which I think is so convenient for travelling.
The application of the eyeliner is smooth and creamy and is so brilliant for lining your water line - it creates an intense dark look that can be used in the daytime as it is so simple and quick that you can do it in the morning even when you're in a rush.
And finally - it lasts the whole day! It proves to be very waterproof as when I put it in my water line it won't budge the whole day, and it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes as I wear contact lenses. I love this product! So far it seems to last quite a while but whenever I do run out, I will be running back to buy this again. Couldn't be more happy with this product. continued >>

I am loving this eyeliner that soap & glory have brought out on their new make up range. It is amazing, it is really creamy and a very intense black which is good, because usually I find with other eyeliners that claim to be 'ultra black' and waterproof don't last all day and I have to reapply. I haven't had this problem with the smoulder kohl, it does last all day with no running or smudges. I wouldn't say it is the most expensive eyeliner you can buy when you compare it to other brands but it isn't exactly cheap, but it does work very effectively in my opinion so it is well worth what you pay for it. continued >>

This eyeliner is amazing! It was so smooth and creamy when i put it on, and the colour was very intense, I absolutely love this! I usually use Urban Decay's 24/7 in Zero, but this is an excellent, and much cheaper alternative! It also comes with a handy little pearer on the lid so its great. It lasts the entire day where with Urban Decay, it usually wears away after a while. I would definitely recommend this and at €7 its a steal! :)

Once again I decided to try yet another black eyeliner. It was only weeks ago that I tried the Avon Supershock Gel eyeliner pencil & the Mega Impact eyeliner ( which is really the same as the Supershock one.) But, my eyes don't always agree with Avon products so even though I was happy with how they both glided across my lid in a beautiful rich black, I had to find something else to use. Over the last few months I've used Rimmel Special Eyes in Black Magic & the Bourjois Effet Smoky Pencil, hoping that they would be my HG eyeliners. I do use the Maybelline Gel liner ( which is my HG gel liner, I wouldn't bother spending loads of money on Mac or Bobbi Brown.) But I still wanted a really good pencil eyeliner that was creamy & would glide across my lids. So yesterday I went to my local Boots store & got the Soap & Glory eyeliner. I really, really, really LOVE it!!!! It glided just like the Avon liners & it really is super black. The pencil itself is so cute. And the sharpener that it comes with really works. It didn't wreck the pencil ( which was kind of an issue with the Avon liners.) So now that I have found my HG eyeliner in pencil form there's no need for me to try another brand. I would definitely buy this again & again. continued >>

This eyeliner currently only comes in super black, a solid creamy black. It's part of Soap and Glory's new make up range that launches a few months ago. Smoulder kohl is, unbelievably, a kohl eyeliner (!) and claims to be waterproof. Firstly, application of it was pretty good, it was much smoother than Rimmel's exaggerate and on par with UD zero. I did flicks at the corner of my eyes and I was impressed that they were still unsmudged by the end of the night. However, as I have small asian eyes, the eyeliner smudged pretty badly between the line and above my lids-real pain in the ass problem I have with most eyeliners. My usual solution around this is to try and draw a thin as possible line in my inner eye corner and it reduces smudge. Obviously, this problem won't exist if you have bigger or more caucasian eyes so ignore that con if it doesn't apply to you. Also, the smudge is not crazy, it's more just a bit of line transfer, maybe I need to apply less or something so it sets quicker? The line itself is maintained, it just ends up mirrored onto your top lid!
Other things to note are the price, it's only £5 and although it's soft and creamy, the pencil doesn't run down too quickly, I reckon you could use it quite a few times before it needs a sharpen-indicating that this product will last a decent amount of time. Next thing-it rather uniquely has a sharpener and sharpener cleaning spike built into the lid. I must confess this is what made me pick this eyeliner up, what a handy and unique thing to have!
Also it says it has jojoba oil and vitamin E in which is a nice touch although obviously you won't notice the difference!
All in all, it's a decent liner, sadly not 100% appropriate for my eyes, but I will rebuy it for doing cat flicks as most other eyeliners crease in the outer corners, this liner is great for not doing that and at a fiver that's worth something!
