I used this but this is nothing special for my combination skin and this has paraben in it. It's cheap $3.83 for 8 oz. This lasts a long time if someone like it. I woluld not buy this again.
Suggested use: Cleanse face and neck thoroughly. Apply Mud Pack Masque generously and wait about 15 minutes to allow masque to harden. Remove with warm water and a washcloth. I purchased this online by iherb dot com (they ship worldwide). If you want anything from this site, I have a coupon code if you want order the first time: VIK284 and you have 5$ off.
This is a great masque that leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated after I use it. I was really surprised at all the negative reviews - I have never found this mask drying or irritating in any way, but I know skincare is very YMMV. I use this when my skin is feeling a bit lackluster or dry, and it perks it right up while adding a quick shot of hydration. My face definitely feels firmer and more "plumped up" after I use this. Combine this with a moisturizer with hylauronic acid (like Cerave) and my normally combo-troubled skin hasn't had one dry patch in months! Will definitely repurchase.

Not bad stuff-- been around for ages! I went to cosmetology school twenty years ago and we used this stuff back then. I like it better than the mint mask basically due to the scent. I don't mind the rose scent of this product and it does the job. It dries oil big time I would not suggest for people with dry skin. A good basic staple and great for teens with oil reserves that won't quit. Super cheap too!

Love this and even my boyfriend does too! I have a few of the queen helene masks and this is one of my favourites. A great at home mask product and dirt cheap!

For 3.99, I think this product isn't worth the hype. It's really drying and gets every where! I should have purchased the peel-off cucumber mask next to it.
The price is great and it's not an atrocious product, but to me it's pretty drying and doesn't make any skin difference.
So, I have not used the Mint Julep masque for over 10 years because I knew the mint oils were irritating to my skin, but I was looking for a cheap no-frills kaolin mask for my nose, which tends to clogged pores, and when I found this at Sally I gave it a try.
To be clear, this is definitely NOT a "gentler" version of the Mint Julep masque. The main ingredients are exactly the same; the only difference is the fragrance and color. But because the highly irritating mint oil is not in it, it might be slightly *less irritating* for some people, including me. I can't use kaolin on the rest of my face because it's simply too drying, this mask included.
But it does a fine job on my nose. One thing I noticed when a large flake dried and fell off was that it had a comedone stuck to it, just like those peel of masks and blackhead strips do. I suspect people don't know clay masks can do this because generally we rinse them off as opposed to peeling them off and inspecting them.
I kind of like the smell, and the consistency is good. I got the big tub, which is frankly a pain in the @ss, but it's still a good clay mask that does what it should for little money.

-Burned when I put it on my face
-Smells so bad, so over powering. like chemical roses
-worked well on my back
First comment! Got this off a shelf in Singapore. This stuff is amazing. I've used the mint mask, and this mud mask wins it hands down.
I generally have decent skin, a few pimples here and there, but dunno why recently my skin started to have lots of bumps and was very sallow and dull.
I saw this on the shelf, googled about it, and thank God I bought this. Have been using this 4 times a week for a few weeks, and my skin has regained its radiance! Also, the little bumps on my face has disappeared too!
I've also bought the cucumber massage cream and used it as a cleansing cream. Dunno which product I should credit my good skin to, but they are so cheap, just get both anyway!
Just FYI, my skin is combi, and Singapore's climate is very very humid.
Happy! :)

This mask broke me out just like the mint julep mask. I am having the worst skin I have ever had thanks to this mask. I have over 56 cystic acne right now and over 68 pimples (i counted them) and before i started using this mask I only had 2 pimples and 1 cystic acne. I have acne prone and oily skin so im used to having break outs every single day but this is just too much. it also clogged my pores. Im really glad that it works for other ppl but this did not work for me.
it is really thick just like the mint julep. it also does smell like mud. I would only recommend this product to people i really really really hate. For the effects, I say that 4 dollars is too much to pay.I would rather go back to my 50 dollar masks.
I have used this mask for 48 times and i hate it. But it does not dry out my skin like it does for other people since i have extremely oily skin. I used it 6 times in a row back to back and it still does not dry out my skin. continued >>
