Calvin Klein resurrected their makeup line, but it too is now discontinued. I bought some items heavily discounted.
Lipsticks I purchased are called First Kiss and Oasis. I particularly like the formula of First Kiss, it's moist & light feeling, but still has a good color payoff. The shade is soft bluish pink. I think I will get another one as a backup.
Oasis feels a bit dryer, the shade is darkish nude with some shimmer. It is ok and I will use up the one I got.
Other items I got were nail polish called Barefoot (nice shimmery greyge), Smudge eyeshadow (pigmented black w/ shimmer) and creme to powder foundation. I liked all of those except the foundation (the packaging is hard to open and the shade & formula are just awful).
So if you looking for high quality with low low prices, check out the line. continued >>

Could not believe this brand had such good lipsticks!
I tried in the past several glosses but was not impressed by the quality, I gave a try w/ liquid eyeliner (=nil) so I never bothered into venturing tin this brand again.
Now that they are going out of business -alas! - I had a good offer in the store so I splurged and got myself 3 new lippies.
First of all, I am impressed by the texture and the quality: matte, rich, creamy, not drying at all, very very pigmented.
Then the colours are really fine; kind of a classic minimalistic ones (nothing like MAC or Illamasqua....not very vibant pop shades here):
But I am a classic girl and I like my lips to reflect my style, a lot of nudes, beiges, soft/muted pinks and light corals are my style..
My favourite is Plush: a lively rosey pink that seems very strong in the tube but applied on the lips is a MLBB shade! I so love it! it's not a typical pink nor a plum rose, on the other hand it is not a vibrant pink; it's a very interesting shade!
And it lasts a good 6 hours (alone, no gloss on top) without touch up! Chapeau!
I am really impressed. Superb minimalistic packaging, in addition. It is a pity they are out of business now.

A great selection of matte, highly pigmented lips in dark, bright and light colours. Very 1990s. Even the light ones like Greige look good on my dark MMM to GGG complexion (or so I think). Feels very retro to wear these colours. Big bonus – many shades of brown in this line, even the reds have nice brown tones to them. Colour that lasts without drying. Superb. Pity they’re discontinued.

I love the formula of Ck lipsticks. THey are creamy and well pigmented. I have Fusion (bold fuschiaish) Cosmopolitain (coral red) and Fate (pinky nude). I love them all, I can't wait to get more. The cosmo one is my perfect coral shade ive been looking for all summer. Highly reccomended

Sandstone. I love this lipstick! It's sooo creamy and smooth, which can make it hard to put on evenly, but the texture is gorgeous!! It looks like a grey-beige in the tube and can wash you out but I wear this under MAC's c-thru lipglass for a really pretty nude lip. Since I have really pigmented lips, the colour is a bit too sheer for my liking and can end up looking grey which is why I took off a lipstick.

i have this in champagne which is a natural and nude shade. i didn't like this color at the beginning as it is not the usual shade i would prefer. but the color it appears on my lip is way lighter than what it seems. the texture is silky and moisturizing and i don't even have to put lip balm on before that. love it!

I get a bit sad when I think about Calvin Klein's lipsticks. They are/were a great product for the price and, more importantly, they were what this line did really, really well. The lipsticks are creamy and light and longlasting, I am a gloss fan, and CK's lipsticks are one of the few that I can stand. I am sad to see them go. continued >>

I was cleaning out my makeup drawers yesterday and came across a CK lipstick in Camel...a shade I bought a few years back and then used maybe once or twice. In the store, it looked like the perfect nude-beige color. On my lips, it settled into the lines, had a grey tone to it, and made me look like i had been dead for weeks. This went into the trash. Thank God they discontinued this line, or I surely would have been sucked into the packaging again, leading me to yet another bad makeup purchase.

Really nice packaging and great texture and consistency. However i bought the 2 pack in nutbrown and dune. I liked nutbrown and felt it brought my green eyes out, but my fiancee said i looked like i'd been sucking blood!!! The other color in Dune was just to much of a pale, neutral peach..which alone looked very sixties but maybe nicer over another color. Nicest part about these in the packaging and texture!

First thing that came to my mind when I saw this lipstick. This is soooo CK.. absolutely sleek silver packaging with the tonal 'Calvin Klein' name. Too bad these are discontinued cos they feel absolutely luxurious on the lips - glides on well, smooth, long-lasting and not drying on my super-dry lips. Managed to get a few off ebay.com for good prices and still scouting for more! :)

CK makes my all time favorite lipstick - Rose Quartz. I have really weird, highly pigmented lips (or weird body chemistry) that tend to turn most browninsh lipsticks a horrible burnt orange, and most pink lipsticks a gaudy fuschia. So it's really hard for me to find a nude or light pink lipstick whose color stays true. Then I found Rose Quartz, which for someone without really pigmented lips would probably be way too light. For me, it comes out a perfect milky light baby pink with no frost but a very tiny bit of silvery shimmer. If this lipstick is ever discontinued, I will die. Sandstone is the perfect light neutral beigey nude that doesn't turn orange on me. My HG!!

I'm not usually a lipstick wearing person but I adore these. The shade selection is magnificent, they apply on smoothly and leave a nice soft finish. Best of all, the packaging is gorgeous!

While the formula of CK's lipsticks are quite high quality and the packaging wonderfully understated and classy, I find that his colors tend to be more suited for warm-toned gals. Even his berries and roses seem to have a brown cast which wash out those like me who look better in cool shades. I haven't been able to find a color I can wear without looking a little drab, I hope he can extend his color range soon.

I got this lipstick in Cedar and am impressed. The color lasts a long time and it goes on really smoothly. The only thing that I noticed was that it made my lips a bit dry after awhile, but clear gloss can fix that easily. The shades in the CK lip color line is very good especially the natural looking colors.

Calvin Klein makes both my favorite eyeshadows, and lipsticks. The lipstick texture is very nice and creamy, not at all drying, and stays on a fair amount of time. I have tried several colors ( which I reviewed seperately ), and I am yet to find a bad color. This is my staple lipstick.

Love the silver tube and the lipstick itself! I have a new found staple in my lip color collection, and that's RARE!!!
The color I adore is "Greige". I have only tried this color in the line, but would love to try more if greige is any indication of the quality I'm in store for! A+

Calvin Klein makes two of my favorite lipstick colors - Greige and Camel. A true beige lippie lover - these top my fave's list. For some reason, I did find that my Greige lippie (which is a cross between Beige and Grey for a cool-toned Nude look) is a tad bit more drying than my Camel lippie (which is a warmer nude color with slight yellow undertone). Overall, I would buy his lipsticks again, I tried Desert also, but that came out too pink on me. A definite winner!

The more I use Calvin Klein cosmetics, the better I like them. The lipstick is great. I purchased "Primrose" which is a soft rose pink. It works great for my light/medium complexion. Very creamy, not too shiny, soft natural colors that seem to last fairly well. Does not leave lips dry and peeling like MAC does, plus no scent! I have found more appealing colors in this line that almost any other. It's worth checking out, especially if you are looking for that "natural only better look" that's in this summer!
