I bought this on a whim and generally always buy 2 colours and blend but didnt with this.
When i first tried it it was just ok but i tried it again properly today and I very much like the finish and colour.
I am NC 43 / BB Honey and got this in Honey. Im glad that high street brands are now finallydoing darker colours although they still can be hit and miss (Loreal!!!)
the colour was spot on. I used my smashbox primer first then with a stipple brush lightly dusted peach revlon skinlights (oh where can i get more of this stuff!!!) then blended this with my fingers.
My only gripe with this is because it hadnt been used for over a week the little ball inside which you have to shake to mix the primer and foundation was stuck so i had to shake it like crazy.
Although the packaging is rather naff it is small and good for traveling with.
The coverage was light to medium and gave good coverage although i have fairly good skin.
Wuld i buy again - maybe but being a makeup whore not sure if i will as i have so many.

I was super excited when I heard Soap and Glory had released a cosmetics range, as I love their bath products. I bought three items on a three for two offer in boots, including the eyeshadow, concealer and the 2-in-1 foundation.
My favourite thing about the foundation is how creamy it is. The product blends extremely well and was a nice change from the foundation I normally use, which is quite stubborn! I'd say it was more like a tinted moisturizer than a foundation, as I had to apply quite a bit to get the coverage I wanted before using quite a bit of concealer. A lot of girls may prefer this, but personally I like a thicker coverage as I'm prone to a bit of acne and discolouring. Despite applying more than I probably needed to, the make up felt very light on my face, and I didn't get that horrible cakey feeling you get with some products.
The foundation had quite a yellowey undertone and made me look a bit orange after I'd finished applying. This may be down to the fact I chose the wrong shade for my skin tone though. I applied it a few hours before work and it hadn't budged by my lunch break, just had to blot my t-zone with a bit of powder, so the staying power gets a thumbs up from me.
I didn't feel the product was too expensive, I always expect to pay a bit extra for foundation. At £10 it's not quite as cheap as drugstore make-up, but isn't as expensive as some of the higher-end brands. This foundation wasn't perfect, I wasn't keen on the light coverage or yellowish tinge, but it's a decent enough product for a tenner. I'm not sure I'll purchase it again, but I'll definitely return to the bottle I bought once the foundation I normally use has run out.

Age: 25-29 Skin: Very Dry, Fair, Not Sure Hair: Brown, Other, Other Eyes: Grey

I was so excited when Soap and Glory announced they would be unveiling a cosmetics line as I absolutely love their bath and body products. However, I was a little disappointed with the foundation. As I have very pale skin I opted for their palest colour, The Fairest of them All, but even this light shade was too dark for my very pale skin. The actual consistency of the foundation is lovely, and it feels quite moisturising on the skin, which is exactly what I'm looking for as I have quite dry skin. I would say the finish is not matte but not quite dewy, more a radiant finish - giving you fresh looking skin. The shade I picked had slightly warm undertones I would say so would be perfect for those who are pale with warmer undertones, however it just did not suit my skin tone. Despite not liking this foundation on my skin, I would say it would be perfect for many others, who like a moisturising foundation that gives a natural finish as this is a lovely product, just not right for my skin tone. My search for my holy grail foundation continues ...

Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair, Neutral Hair: Blond, Straight, Fine Eyes: Blue

I use this 2-in-1 foundation and primer in the lightest shade: The Fairest Of Them All/Blanche Neige.
I usually wear the following: Bourjois Healthy Mix in 51 Light Vanilla, Rimmel Match Perfection Cream Gel in 100 Ivory, Mehron HD Celébre cream foundation in Light 3, Lucy Minerals in Bisque.
I think I'm on the slightly warmer side of a neutral fair skintone and I find this foundation, while being light enough for me, leans a little to the cooler side.
You have to shake the bottle quite well before use, so the primer and foundation mix together.
The foundation comes in a cute little box with retro pinup design. The actual packaging is a rather plain black plastic squeezy bottle with pink writing. I absolutely love the small size as it fits easily into my bag or hand lugagge.
The foundation has a nice consistency, it's liquid, but not runny. It is easy to apply (I use my fingers as recommended on the packaging) and blends nicely. It feels slightly greasy on my fingers and face, but it sinks into the skin after a while. It feels moisturising, which is why I like for the winter, as my skin tends to be on the drier side then.
The coverage is light, rather like a tinted moisturiser (it feels like one, too).It evens out my skintone nicely, but doesn't cover blemishes or dark circles. I use this on "good skin" days, or I use a concealer with it.
It gives an energising appearance which makes my skin glow, due to shimmer particles in the foundation. In certain light it seemed very glittery, but in daylight it looks very natural and glowy. I would probably only use this in the winter as the shimmer effect might be too much in strong summer sunlight. But in the winter, I like it to enliven my dull skin :-)
I paid £11.00 for 30ml, which is on the more expensive end for a drugstore foundation. I find, I don't need as much of this foundation as I need of others, so it's not that pricey, seeing it would last me a long time.
I was doubtful about the 2-1 concept and the efficiency of the primer, but it really does work. The foundation stays on a long time (lasts me all dy pretty much), and it takes more effort to take it off at night, which means the primer is doing its job.
All in all, I think Soap and Glory's first venture into makeup has been quite sucessful as I like this foundation and find myself reaching for it a lot. I love the easy and quick application and the healthy glow it gives me.
So, if you're one of those people who have always been looking for a tinted moisturiser or light coverage foundation that's fair enough for them, you may wanna try this :-)
