This is, without a doubt, a total and complete dud from Lunasol. In fact, when I first got it, the pencil was so waxy that I couldn't get the color to show at all. Had to try for days. When I finally broke through, I found the color to be too faint. 01, which is black, needs to be layered three or four times to resemble the color it claims it is. It doesn't help that the pencil is small and can only produce a thin line. But do take comfort in the fact that it improves with time. After the initial month, it would start to function like a regular pencil. Also, it is quite creamy, so the layering doesn't get uncomfortable as a hard pencil would. The other end of the pencil is a shading brush, though I've never bothered with it. I adamantly prefer Clinique's quickliner and only use this as a touch-up.
