I remember seeing this in Sept on a sample plastic thingy, when I did an Essie order, and thinking what a cool color this looked like. I finally bought this last week, and I'm wearing it now. It reminds me of 1 of my all-time favorite nail polish shades--Essie's Soiree Mauve (which I believe is discontinued). it's definitely a smoky mauve (as the other reviewer noted), with a cream finish. but, the beauty of this color is that it looks different, depending on the light (outside, inside under fluorescent lights or normal bulbs)--it can look more brownish, more mauve, or even lavendar-ish! plus, i'm happy it's in Zoya's formula, which is better than Essie's. i'd definitely repurchase.

Jana is a creamy smokey mauve. It is opaque in two coats. It is a really lovely color for fall. I havn't compared it yet but just at first glance it reminds me of $OPI Metro Chic.
