This foundation is above average, but it doesn't beat Colorstay, either at oil control or staying powder.
It is very bendable with a thin, watery texture that is nicely pigmented so does a decent job at covering skin discolouration and acne; because of the texture, it is layerable and medium coverage at best.
For me, the product left a dewy natural finish after application (I use no primer, just Cetaphil moisturising lotion.) I found the 'Buff' shade to be about 1 shade lighter than the Colorstay variety, which is slightly frustrating since the latter is my perfect shade!
Regardless, I will continue to use this as my go-to daytime light foundation for good skin days. My t-zone is prone to oiliness and I find this keeps it at bay for about 4-5 hours max. Decent coverage lasts 7 hours max.

I have combination skin in the truest sense of the word. I have an oily t-zone, mild rosacea, acne on my chin (which is well controlled with products) and I can get Seborrheic Dermatitis also. Having said all that, a foundation must be fairly evil to cause me an acne breakout, but that is exactly what has happened with this foundation. It is also very disappointing in terms of oil control. I simply cannot believe how much of a failure this foundation is and I can't use it, hence the 1 lippie rating. It could not be more unsuitable for my skin! But in spite of all that, there were a couple of good things.
PROS:
--great shade match. In spite of there being only 5 shades released here in Australia (apparently we are a test market for this), I found a terrific match in Buff. It is a dead ringer for ColorStay Buff which I also own.
--nice smooth application. Glides on beautifully, no doubt due to the number of silicones in this.
--natural finish. Not as masky as ColorStay, but this still offers buildable coverage. Depending on your application, you can go for light or full coverage. I worried this might have a flat, matte finish (being an oil control product) but I was wrong. It's a lovely satin finish.
CONS:
--lack of oil control. Revlon promise "oil absorbing spheres" to "eliminate shine." Well um, sorry Revlon, but they don't work. I was shiny in 3 hours and this was with or without my trusty Fyrinnae primer. Yes, I did set with powder.
--not long wearing. As my skin's natural oils came through, the foundation began to degrade into patches. No way am I going to make it through a full day at work with this on.
--something in this clogs me and causes breakouts. I can't figure out what it is. It could be all the silicones.
--requires very thorough cleansing. Revlon say this is oil free. Well this might be so but it really clings to skin, behaving like an oil-based foundation. I had some on the back of my hand, and it requires more than a little hand soap to remove. So I would recommend oil cleanser for this.
--the darn bottle. Revlon CS fans are familiar with this complaint! Basically Revlon have used a CS bottle with a white lid to package this. No pump.
I cannot really recommend this foundation to anyone with oily, acne-prone skin. Even ColorStay is better than this at oil control. If your skin is somewhat normal and you don't experience acne, you might enjoy this. This retails at AUD$24.95.

I needed a new foundation that would help my oil-prone skin and came across this product when i was researching foundations suitable for oily skin. i use the darkest shade and i love the natural feel and shade. it doesn't have that annoying orange tone nor does it fade by the end a long day. it blends beautifully into the skin but i find that i need a little translucent powder to set it before i go outside because after a few hours of being out and about, i feel that it starts to get oily around my t-zone.
i really wish it had a pump though! not only would it be more hygienic...but its very difficult trying to get the right amount out without wasting the product..overall its been the best foundation that matches my skin tone really well without fading by the end of the day. just might need to carry blotting paper and some powder when on the go to touch up

this foundation BROKE ME OUT. everytime i use it, i will get new zits. but i must say this foundation is overall a great product. it gives sheer to medium coverage. it is semi matte, very natural finish. Last for 9 hours on me. Oil control ability is alright. get oily around the nose, forehead in about 3 hours. I would have been obsessed with this foundation if it didnt break me out. It is such a pity seriously!

Was pleasantly surprised by this makeup. Was expecting a runny foundation that dried really quickly and was difficult to blend, but I was totally wrong. It goes on really smooth and is easy to finish blending with my fluffy makeup brush, which is a feature I like about the mousse foundations. I was also surprised to see what a nice glow it gave me, but still matte. I've had it on for about 3 hours now without any powder over top, and by now I would have normally seen little oil beads appearing on my face, but it still looks like when I just put this on!
My guy friend who is very critical of girl's makeup told me it looked very natural as well. Gives a nice cover, and is easy to build coverage. The spf is a nice touch as well. Now I am just hoping that switching to this foundation is a solution to the bumpies on my forehead. It claims to be non comogenic so here's hoping!

This foundation literally melts onto the skin, its super easy to blend and easy to layer if you want more coverage. Gives a nice healthy glow and medium coverage. I used to use Revlon Colorstay and recently switched to Clinique Even Better, big mistake broke me out terribly! My skin in still recovering. I like this foundation so much more than Clinique's Even Better, the color match is perfect for my skin and it is so comfortable to wear. Last's about 6 hours before I need a touch up. Goes well with a bronzing powder over the top too. LOVE IT! No 5 lippies as it does not have the lasting power I wish it did. Overall fantastic comfortable foundation! Revlon has won me back!

I tried alot of foundations that promised to keep you shine free, so I was about to give up when I saw the New Complexion Oil Control Make-up I gave it a go. I'm so impressed with just about everything, its a liquid form, a little bit runny, but blends very easy. Coverage is so build-able, from sheer to medium to full (if you layer it on) wear it alone is totally fine, because the finish is a healthy matte not that cakey matte some foundations tends to create. Out in the sun, you look very natural, and oil control is amazing last all day (for me). By midnight I do get abit oily but with this formula, when I do get shiny it looks like I'm just having a pretty glow to my face. It covers my imperfection and dark circle well so i don't need a concealer that often now. Haven't broke me out. Sunscreen included, not perfect for photography though but good protection for everyday use. Don't like the packaging, I tend to pour out alot then I needed. Definitely the best foundation out there.

I love this product. It lasts all day on my skin. Very natural coverage with a light matt finish. It doesn't make my skin break out. No need to use powder. The downside would be very poor shade selection for darker skin tones. It would help if the bottle had a pump as the liquid is quite runny and can leak if lid isn't on properly. Over all I would purchase this product during summer as this when my skin is oiler. Great product!

Glad to be the first reviewer on Makeup alley for this foundation!
This product is newly launched in 01Novemember and I have only start using it today.
First impression is great, very runny texture and it is not as dry as the Revlon Colourstay foundation. I found it very easy to spread out using my Sigma F80 brush. My colour is in sand Beige (I am around NC 25), but it slight pale for me so I may get the natural beige next time. The colour range is more on the lighter shade, I am not sure why but so far I only saw 6 shades from store. It leave a soft Matt look, sometimes Colourstay can be a bit mask-like and thick.
Today I notice I don't need to blot my face as often as i do, these days I normally wear Chanel Mat Lumerie foundation, after 3-4 hours my face will start getting oily, but this foundation really can keep my face less oily.
After 4 hours my nose is slightly greasy, but not much. When I feel like reblot it again was around 7-8 hours later, so very impressive! Normally I get used to blot my face every 2-3 hours in the afternoon and the tissue paper is slightly brown because my foundation start coming off, but today I hardly see anything on the tissue paper! I also wore this to da gym for an hour Zumba, after that it's still look good. (but i do recommend people to wash their face before exercise tho :-) )
I think this foundation can be removed easier than Colorstay so that's a good sign! No residue left using my routine skincare.
The only 2 things I don't like is:
(1) The packaging: it is the same bottle design as the Colourstay one, so yea, big fat neck and be carefully when you pour it out. I really hope Revlon can upgrade this foundation to a pump bottle so it is easier to dispense without any mess, or a squeeze bottle like Makeup Forever. It is liquid enough so there is really no excuse to clog the pump or what so ever.
(2) The scent, not as strong as the Colourstay foundation but I can still smell the chemical scent after few hours. I will try not to put much between my nose and upper lips area, so I can't smell it right into my nose? don't know... Will definitely do another update in about 1 week time. So far, love it!
Edit: after 2 weeks, I still like it. But I noticed this foundation can emphasize your dry area. After that if you wanna set powder on top will look even worst. So ladies, please make sure you exfoliate well your skin before you put on this product. Also Sometimes I like to use a duo fibre brush instead of my sigma F80, because the texture is so water based and easy to blend. Bubz Beauty HD brush can work very well too.
