Zoya's Jem is a beautiful color but came out more red than plum. If you apply 2 coats that is enough to see the sparkly gold flecks mixed into this color. If you apply 3 coats you get only the color and the flecks don't show through unless you gently wipe nail polish remover over them once. Easy to apply but it took awhile to dry for me. Very thick formula.

Gorgeous deep shimmery purple goes on great in one coat but I did two for more even application. Nice subtle shimmer, great for fall.

This is my first Zoya purchase, skeptical of the price tag, $8 US is a expensive. This stuff wears like Teflon and only came off when I took removed this nail polish. I am very hard on my nails because of my work, and there was the teeniest bit of wear on the tips by the end of the day banging my nails. I also chipped a nail, and the only bit of nail polish that wore off was where my nail broke. Did I mention that it only took one coat to make the color opaque? If this is normal for this line of nail polishes, I will purchase more of this line.

there's gold in the deep purple that gives the color a beautiful richness. it's a lovely purple that doesn't need anything extra. it's very attention getting. i used an orly topcoat but i did have some chipping but not so bad that i wouldn't keep wearing this shade. minor touch ups and it still looks good!

This is one of the prettiest polishes I've purchased in quite a while. It's from Zoya's Smoke and Mirrors collection. It is a one-coater, which is uncommon for most polishes, but I still used two. You can't go wrong with this one!

Jem is a deep burgundy, which is like a purple red with a blackish base tones. I love this nail polish because it is a one coater and this just didn't chip. This is a Zoya must have. Zoy'a Valerie is extremely similar in color but Jem has less shimmer to it and the base isn't as black.
