Actually this brush is EDM's 187. It's great for applying liquid foundation. The bristles are still soft as same as other EDM brushes.
Yes! It is shedding a lot (the brown bristles). For all duo fibre brushes, even the MAC 187, shedding is always a problem.
I have to say that the quality of this brush is much much better than the Sigma's.

This brush is awful!! The bristles are scratchy and they shed quite a bit. This product is called a "blender" brush, yet the bristles aren't dense or full, so the actual bristles don't blend. The bristles just kind of flop around and poke my face in a way that makes me think it's causing microscopic abrasions all over my face.

I love EDM's long handled kabuki, flat top kabuki, angled blush brush, and eye brushes, but the Blender Brush is a definite NO GO!

Eco Tools offers incredibly affordable, synthetic bristled brushes for a fraction of the price of EDM brushes and the quality is either the same or much, much better than EDM.

Don't waste 12 bucks on this awful brush. I'm sending it back for a refund.
