I have to say I am impressed. Previous depilatory creams just burned and lot hair behind. This works well, upper lip hair gone after 10 minutes and 1 swipe of a cotton pad. No burning. Odor is tolerable. Just pricey.

Some of the Olay facial products are mainstays in my cleansing routine. That said, when I saw the Smooth Finish Facial Hair removal duo Double Package offering in Costco, I thought to buy and try with my daughter-she is 30, I am 54.
Separately, we each tried it, leaving it on for 10 minutes, then a few weeks later, 15 minutes.
Not remarkable, sorry to say.
Lesson learned- read a few reviews before spending $25!
Love, Love, Love this product. I bought the one for medium to coarse hair.
It easily removed my hair on my upper lip and didn't cause no irritation. (I do have sensitive skin ) Left it on for 10 minutes, wiped it off then rinsed with water. I have tried similar products but they never removed all my hair in one application. I use the product about once every 2 weeks.
Holy Sh**. Napalm. This stuff is facial napalm. Never mind the exorbitant price... I am shocked at how much this stuff hurts!!!!!! To be fair, I did not conduct a skin test as advised on the packaging, but I never have with others (sally hansen, Nair) so I didn't think it would be an issue. This stuff is no more effective than the others I have tried, I was suckered intothinking this would be superior because of the high price. I followed the directions to the letter, and I now a have a bright, red, puffy "goatee". Some places even look raw and sting as if I have a chemical burn. My face is currently slathered in Aquaphor. I wonder how I'm going to explain this to my bf tonight and my coworkers tomorrow. Damn.
Try at your own risk. and heed the advice on the packaging. For the love of God, DO A SPOT TEST FIRST!!

The product does what it says. It removes all my upper hair and makes my skin really smooth. It's also not harsh and doesn't burn compared to other products I've tried before. This product didn't give me an irritation, but my skin rarely does to begin with.
However, the downside is it expensive for a small amount! Plus, you need to apply a thick amount for hair to be removed. I thought this hair removal would be 2x better than the other product given the price and that the claims would be 2x better. Butttt, it's the same as other products. It removes hair.
I would not buy this again since it was waaaay to expensive for something so little. I'll stick with Sally Hansen
I have a facial hair problem, like so many women of all ages. I have had laser treatments by a plastic surgeon's office and most of my facial hair was removed (all but the course GREY hair because it won't work well on light colored hair). However, for the upper lip line and other stray areas I thought this might work for a longer term solution than shaving. WRONG.
The premise of this product is that the waxy "protector" product is supposed to help keep the cream depilatory from burning like hell and then making your skin red and burned. Nope. It hurt and to boot, little if no hair was removed.
I realize I am a fair skinned gal with somewhat sensitive skin. However, for the $20 or so cost of this product, I expected MUCH MORE.
I don't recommend it.

Let me first say that this is the first facial hair removal product I've tried. I don't do waxing/threading/etc on my face. However, I did find that this product worked well at removing my (blond, fine) hair from the upper lip area. You do have to follow the directions to rub the clear balm in enough so that its not creating too much of a barrier between your skin and the remover, but enough so that it protects your skin from irritation (I think they say 20 seconds). I do have quite sensitive skin and have had no irritation or redness from this product, but I only leave it on for 4-5 minutes max. I think the trick is you have to apply a very thick layer of the removal cream. The first time, in some areas like very near the lip, I didn't apply it thickly enough and those hairs were not removed. I have used it 5 or 6 times now still with no problems.
That said, I do think the price is high for what you get and would not purchase without a coupon or something to lower the price.

I have the one for darker, coarser hair. I apply the balm and only have very minor irritation. My skin is really hardy though, not usually sensitive at all. I will say that I doubt I will repurchase, simply because this is incredibly overpriced. It works well enough, but while the Olay is more elegant to use and probably of slightly higher quality, facial Nair works just as well for 1/4 of the price. HOWEVER - the balm is an excellent lip gloss. Just saying. I keep it in my purse.

I just used this about 20 minutes ago, and my upper lip still stings. It did absolutely nothing but, like another reviewer said, removed the pale ones that weren't so visible. In fact, I was left with what looks like tiny stubble? This is meant to leave it "smooth" and free of any hair. Also, I had to rub the cotton ball just to remove a tiny bit. Its a little red, my upper lip, and I just hope it won't get worse because I have school tomorrow. Absolutely ridiculous for such a high price. Olay was very disappointing with this product.

Not bad at all. Removing upper lip hairs has always been painful for me. I'm super sensitive & I cannot wax or pluck my upper lip under any circumstances so this stuff is a godsend. Very easy to use and fast. I was worried that the hair might grow back thicker/darker/faster, but it hasn't. The price tag is pretty steep. I paid about $20-25, but it has lasted awhile too.
