I quite like this color. It's a beautiful neutral taupe, maybe just a tinge warm. I wear it over a primer made by a different minerals manufacturer and it stays true the entire day and into the night. If you have problems with staying power and you're using a primer, don't be so quick to blame the eye shadow. Switch primers and see what happens. I notice the lady who wears the Lorac primer has had the same disappointing results with every Alima shadow. I really don't think it's the eye shadow... Anyway, I wear Dove as brow powder mostly. I have cool blonde eyebrows and it's nearly impossible to get a good brow color, but this works nicely.

I quite like this color actually. It's a pale matte stone gray that doesn't turn blueish like most grays. It's perfect for the crease and/or to line the lower lid, especially for pale ladies like me. It is indeed matte so if you can't handle that just dab a bit of vaseline on top or blend it with one of their shimmery shadows. I've tried plenty of Alima shadows (it's my favorite brand of makeup) and none of them have ever creased on me - I didn't even know that was possible! In general I think I prefer Mink for an everyday crease look but I'm glad I bought this sample.

This is a matte, medium, taupe gray shadow that looks chalky when first applied. Within a few minutes, the chalkiness fades, but the color turns warm, which is unflattering on my pale, cool-toned skin. After a few hours, it disappears from my lids completely, even though I always apply it over Lorac Behind the Scenes shadow primer, which is fully effective under other shadows. Overall, I'm not impressed.
