I bout this at SAMs for a steal. I wanted a nice cleanser that wouldn't dry me out or leave me feeling oily. I love it's smell. After I apply it I cover my face with a warm wash cloth for a few minnutes just so I can breath in it. (It's scent is very soothing)
I am pleased with this product overall, but I didn't give it five stars because I wish it's consistency was a little thicker.

I purchased this because I felt like getting something different and liked the sound of it. I must say, I am very pleased with it. It smells great and makes my skin feel soft and cleansed without that tight feeling some cleansers leave. All in all, the product feels luxurious and hydrating. The texture is perfect- like a lotion type of cold cream that is actually nice to use. Will purchase again.

My skin used to break out a lot. But after it finally calmed down (due to age?!), I was still cleansing with soap or foaming gel cleansers. When I went to a department store to buy foundation, the makeup artist who assisted me told me that my skin was dehydrated. Either my skin changed, or I was incorrectly classifying it, which could be why I was breaking out in the first place. I tried many cream and lotion cleansers before settling on Elizabeth Arden Millenium Hydrating Cleanser (spelled with only one "n", for some reason). It's a light cream that I apply to dry skin and add a little water to before removing it with a washcloth and warm water. It's more water-soluble than Origins' Pure Cream or Kiehl's Cleansing Milk (both of which sting my face a little). It's gentle and it leaves my skin feeling soft. My face glows after I use it. The only minor complaint I have is the added fragrance, a strong floral note. It's not really necessary, and some people can't tolerate added fragrances. I know some people have issues with products in jars, but I prefer jars. I just skim the top with my fingers and apply the right amount. With the cream cleansers in tubes, I always felt I was squeezing out too much. I am really pleased with this cleanser and will definitely repurchase. I can see this product becoming my favorite skin care item.
