This is one of my favourite nail polishes of all time! It's a fantastic colour that I wouldn't easily be able to dupe - it's a beautiful green, a bit chartreusy but more intense - a bit like the colour of the Platonic ideal of granny smith apples? It's got all these gorgeous little bits of gold and green in it that makes it stand out so much. I got compliments from people on how pretty it is on my nails. For reference, I'm a very yellowy NC25-NC30. This nail polish is flashy without being super out there - for instance, Illamasqua's Radium looks 100% terrible on me. I wanted to love it, but it just makes my manicure look cheap.
Butter London's formula is really good, and with base+top coat, it lasts a long time on my nails without chipping, but I do have good, strong nails of my own, so...
Ordinarily, I love Butter London polishes but not Dosh. This shade is what I would call a putrid color. IMO it's muddy and certainly unflattering on my fair ivory skin.
I might also mention that greens are usually my color family in nail polish.
That said, it applies smoothly and lasted six days with just minor tip wear before chipping began.
This is a great color! Lovely peridot green with a fine shimmer. Goes on a little sheer but shapes up nicely in 2 coats. Unusual and surprising.
This is a great but different color for fall. The color is exact from the bottle to the nail--a gorgeous, slightly shiny apple/lime green. The coverage is opaque and fabulous with two coats. You could stop at one but the color is a yellow-green like a pear vs. an apple or lime. It wears well with a base and top coat. I can't wait to wear it with my fall brights!
