Surprisingly high-quality. I swear by this kit in particular. The lipstick is a true blue-red, non-greasy, highly pigmented, and with real staying power. The lip gloss is shimmery and goes on just a little redder than my natural lips. One buck. Are you kidding me? Hell yes, I bought four.
I do have to admit, I freeze the lipstick, remove it from the plastic tube it comes in, and pop it into a pretty vintage metal tube, because the plastic tube, while serviceable, is cheap-looking. But that's the kind of snob I am; I figure, if it's a good product on the inside, I can make it beautiful on the outside.
