This is a beautiful red lipstick with a touch of berry. It has a rich texture that is a cross between a satin and matte feel. This lipstick has fabulous staying power and looks especially pretty with purples and plums on the eyes. I highly recommend this shade because it is quite pigmented and adds instant gamour.

I love love LOVE this shade. I first bought this when I wanted to start branching out and trying more intense lip shades. When I try new shades I like experimenting first with elf products because they are very good for the price, and if you don't like it, you aren't out much money. I fell in love with this shade right away, and having since tried countless lipsticks from cheap to expensive, I still have yet to find an understated reddish (with a hint of brown) shade that works for an everyday look that I like as much as voodoo. I am an NC15 and it goes very nicely with my skin tone. It has good staying power, it has a matter finish, and it isn't drying to the lips either.

This is an amazing plumy red and it wears very well. It is an astonishing find for $1.00! It has a berry fragrance to it. I'm on my second tube, so this is definitely a repeat buy for me!
I love this red. As a NC15 the color is perfect. I just discovered Chanel discontinued my Lotus Rouge color and I'm using this as a substitute since Chanel Customer Service can't seem to answer my inquiry for the closest match to the Lotus Rouge. Seems like they did me a favor. This is wayyyyyyyyy cheaper.

Beautiful, gorgeous, neutral, matte red! Love this, lasts pretty long, can sheer out the color by applying over lip balm.

The first time I tried this on, I thought it felt strange and waxy. I wasn't expect it to be a matte finish, since that's normally something I find in higher-end brands. When I tried it again, I realized it was the PERFECT brick/berry red for me. The matte finish keeps it from looking sleazy, and the color is so flattering and not too bright. It also lasts well and fades evenly.

This would be a great lipstick if it didn't have so much slip to it. I like the color & the packaging doesn't bother me but when i try to build the shade to make it opaque it tends to get messy. Ill try this with some pencil underneath, im sure that will fix the issue.

This is a good lipstick. I don't like all the E.L.F. colors and they are so cheap if I try it and don't like it I throw it out, but this one is a keeper. It is a matt deep red, neutral to cool, maybe with some brown. I gave it a 4 because it is a bit hard to get on evenly, especially with a lipliner. It seems to remove the lipliner. I eventually used an E.L.F. liner that was something like natural blush (?) and this worked well. I also put a spot of purplish lipstick in the middle of my lower lip under this lipstick so that it had more depth. The main good quality is that I'm older and a lot of matte reds I probably can't wear because they are too aging. This color does not make me look older or my lips look smaller. I usually look good in orange reds, and this is nothing like that. I'm NC 15-20. This lipstick has a lot of staying power and wears off evenly, once I was able to put it on evenly.

Wow! A perfect, wearable deep matte red just in time for fall. I can't believe noone else has reviewed this yet. I definitely will be snapping up several these lipsticks in Voodoo. Normally I can't pull off red lipstick let alone wear it to work. I've done it twice now and feel so special stepping through the door.
