Image Solar Defense Gel Oil Free SPF 15
My skin type is normal, if I don't take care of it can feel dry.
I've been on the search for a sunscreen for sometime. My criteria was: a high SPF, pleasant or a non-scent and allows my foundation that I wear daily to blend easily. This was included in the "Ageless" trial size skin care kit.
Here's my review:
Texture: While I love the Image products I'm also an honest reviewer so this is where I get brutally frank. The texture stinks big time. When I opened the small trial tub, I could see the gel had separated from the rest of the product. It looked like creme swimming in vegetable oil. At first I thought it was just a bad or old batch, but I bought another trial kit a year later and it was the same.
Odor: Not a particular scent.
Packaging: In a plastic squeezable tube
Cost: Not sure of the cost as this was in the trial kit.
Bought at: OneSkinandBody.com
Finish/Performance: Very poor. I rubbed it into my hands and arms (didn't attempt on my face!) and it was a odd greasy finish with beads of white product.
My rating scale is: EXCELLENT, GOOD, FAIR AND POOR
Overall rating for this product: POOR.
I've noticed that this product is not on the company's website (Imageskincare.com) so my hunch is they completely reformulated it into a new product.
