The good:
1. Seperates the lashes.
2. No clumping.
3. Black.
4. Nice wand.
5. Good for layering.
The bad:
1. Needs several coats for any effect.
2. Even with many coats it still does very little for my eyelashes.
I like my lashes to be long, thick and curly. The more the volume, the better. Without clumping of course. This mascara does not clump, but doesn't give my lashes the desired effect either. Too bad. No rebuy.

So...I did a little bit of traveling this weekend and I had forgotten my million mascaras at home...did I want to dish out another 10 bucks when I already had a billion mascaras at home? No. That didn't change the fact that I was still in need of one. I dragged myself to the closest CVS and found this little number for a little over 4 bucks...I honestly was not expecting much since it was so dirt cheap (I strongly believe in most cases, 'you get what you pay for') but in this case I will bite my tongue! I was pleasantly surprised when this mascara held onto my curls. (I have very straight, short sparse eye lashes, and often times no matter how good the mascara's reputation might be, its always a flunk for me, within minutes my lashes are straight again) Rimmel hasn't really made it to my top drug store brands but I can sure stand by this particular product of theirs. I do have one minor complaint and that would be the brush, the package claims to have a large/full brush...on the contrary, the brush is quite small and sparse. It does the job for me nonetheless, it may take a few extra applications but in the end, I'm extremely satisfied with this product (for 4 bucks!)
Good luck :]

price : dirt cheap! i can't believe how cheap this was when i bought it! only NZ$16 and 20% off promotion so i got this for NZ$13. i decided to try because i was desperate for a new mascara and the packaging is just really eye-catching! im liking this more than my lancome, estee lauder, and shiseido ones. Because: it can be natural-looking and dramatic as you make it, i find this super lengthening, average volumizing. I have average fragile lashes and they hardly clump or flake from this mascara. I use the shorter bristles for my first coat for volume then the long bristles of the brush for length and seperation. the brush is kinda annoying when it comes to my bottom lashes so i use a different mascara for them. Highly recommended.

Overall a great little mascara if you're just starting out or need a good basic mascara. The packaging is cute without being innovative and not any sort of packaing that we haven't seen before. The brush is easy to use and you can manouvre it around your lashes pretty easily.
Pros: This is a great go to mascara when you need to throw some mascara on your lashes before going out the door. There's no real smell that I could pick up on. The mascara goes on nicely and you can curl your lashes with a lash curler and they will hold with this product on.
Cons: It does flake after a few hours. It's not anything really special or wow. It's just another mascara.

I tried this mascara because I loved the Rimmel London Glam eyes HD Eyeshadow and I wanted to try more of Rimmel's products to see if they were just as good. I got this mascara for a fairly decent price of $4 dollars CDN, compared to other mascaras that go for $8 I was hoping it would be good.
Personally I quite like this mascara. It gives me the length and definition that I want. You have to apply two coats to see any real results.

When I purchase I mascara I want THICK, long, defined lashes. This mascara did a great job of separating and lengthening. However, it does not thicken. You really have to pile it on and then it looks spiderey. It doesn't flake which is nice and it comes off really easy. I just really wanted a thickening mascara and this wasn't it, too bad i guess!

For a cheap mascara, I don't mind Rimmel's Extra Wow lash.
One coat of this mascara really does open up the eyes! this would be a daily mascara if you were on a budget. I used extreme black, and found it to looks rather striking.
However it lets you down when it comes to layering for a dramatic look.
2 or more coats and you get the spider lashes look.
overall, great every day mascara for girls on a budget.

I purchased the mascara on a whim. For 4.00 I can't believe how fabulous the mascara performs. Equipped with a classic soft bristled brush. The formula is very black, delicately buildable and holds curl. It does a fabulous job of lengthening lashes. It lasts all day, stays black and doesn't flakes or crisp. I get many compliments. It has been almost a month without getting thick, grey or drying up. I'm highly impressed. For ladies on a budget. I highly recommend "WoW" Lash.

Amazing! This lengthens and voluminizes all in one or two coats, and for $3-4 you can't really go wrong. I like this more than lash blast, as it seems to lift the lashes and gives the appearance of doe- like lashes. This mascara lengthens more than CG lashblast and although if you layer on too much it will start to clump, it's really not that bad as it's easy to comb through your lashes considering the wetter formula. My new favourite mascara and I've tried a ton.

I bought this because it was $3.99 and I enjoy trying every new mascara I can get my hands on lol.
For the price, this is really decent!
I love the fact that you can layer it as much as you want and it doesn't clump up.
It's quite wet and I find it works best after a week or two when it 'thickens' up.
I get really great length and pretty decent volume using 2 coats. It doesn't weigh down my lashes much either which is a huge plus.
The major downer is that it flakes a bit after a few hours of wear. Otherwise I'd give this a 5.
I actually use lash accelerator over this now to keep it from flaking (that one doesn't flake on me) and I get really long thick lashes with this combo! not bad.

Initially, I was not too excited about this mascara. I was using L'oreal Voluminous Million lashes and this did not seem to do anything in comparison. With the L'oreal I can put on one coat and get thick lashes. With this mascara the same thing produces no results. However, it is a lash building mascara and you need to layer it on. When using it the way it is marketed it does a fabulous job. I just layer on the mascara until I get the desired result as the formula is very thin and easy to work with. The result it produces for me is separated, lifted and lengthened lashes that still look natural. I find this mascara more appropriate for day time as I sometimes found the L'oreal mascara too look more obvious and bold. I would definitely repurchase this despite the tacky packaging. Plus, this is a mascara that I have got a lot of compliments on, never hurts!

I have a love-hate relationship with this mascara.
The Love:
It's a good mascara that keeps curl, lasts all day, looks decent (no Tammy Faye), and does not smudge. I have not found any other drugstore mascara that compares but that's all my love for it...
The Hate:
If you don't wipe off the wand on the inside of the tube as you pull it out THEN that's when you get Tammy Faye lashes. It's a pain in the butt to have to do but worth it. Then there's the fact that I had this a little over a month and it dried out (<serious WTF there). I have never had a drugstore mascara do this to me! Yes it's only $5 for the tube but if I buy that monthly then I'm paying $15 when I could buy another mascara for under $8. I'm too cheap/frugal to spend that extra $7.
Last words: If there was a mascara similar to this that does not dry out and is under $8. Please for the love of everything tell me about it! continued >>

I personally love this mascara. It's a wetter formula which I like and delivers excellent length and volume. Stays all day without flaking, smudging, and holds the curl. Best part of all is it's so inexpensive and I can purchase it on sale for $3.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart. I have repurchased this twice and now have back ups.

There's a reason this is only $3.99. Because it's CRAP. It's a really wet formula that clumps your lashes together and gives no volume. The drawing of the brush on the package is totally misleading...it's the same size as the brushes for their lengthening mascaras. This mascara is useable in a pinch, but if you're trying to look halfway decent I would not recommend.

I love this mascara! I picked it up at my Walmart for 3.49 and it works fantastic. Gives me length and volume (more on the length side) and separates them without flaking or clumping. For the dirt cheap price tag I say go pick this up!

I believe the color I got it in was Extreme Black. I was actually curious about this mascara after hearing the rave review from Clumps of Mascara so I finally saw it and for $3.99 I thought it was a steal ( little did I know later Target was selling it for $3.49) and just from trying it out a bit I liked that it had a big-ish wand and as some of you may know I am a whore for a big wand. Also that it was really black, volumizing (not amazing like my Revlon Grow Luscious) , lengthening, formula wasn't too wet, didn't flake, and held a curl,. Good Mascara on the go that is buildable without getting clumpy.

meh.. not really anything spectacular.. its really cheap, so no crying here.. it just reminded me of the other mascara they have in the line.. the hot pink one, which name has totally escaped my mind, right now.. the two wands are very similar, if not the same. both are big and the formula to both was pretty consistent too.. the only difference for me, was the price.. this one is much cheaper..

I can't get enough of Rimmel's mascaras! This one was only around 3 bucks and popped out of nowhere. I needed to grab something for a few extra bucks to get a discount at my ulta so I picked this one up and I'm in love. I bent the brush slightly the first time I used it. The applicator delivers the perfect amount of product but this is definitely more lengthening than giving volume. My favorite part is how buildable this mascara is! It doesn't get really wet creating problems when you try and put on another few coats! I definitely recommend this one!
