I love this spray. I usually don't spray anything on my semi-wavy hair when I straighten it but after a couple hours in the hot Miami sun, I start sweating and my hair starts getting little waves again. Also, if I straighten my hair at night and sleep on it, the next morning it isn't perfectly straight.
BUT, after using this product:
I woke up in the morning and my hair looked as if I had just finished ironing it. I went to college and walked to my different classes and when I came home my hair was still straight. My hair stayed straight until the next day and then I had to wash it haha. Also, I love the smell. (: Overall, it's for a good price and works pretty darn good!

Meh, this was alright for me. I was in an argan oil stage where I literally bought everything argan oil, so when I saw this I immediately snatched it. In terms of performance, this is decent. I felt like there wasn't any heat protection, and if there was it was mediocre. Also, it smelled overwhelmingly like alcohol so that was a big no-no. I guess I'll finish the bottle but will def not repurchase.

I bought this because my friend had it, and i was looking for a new heat protector that didnt make my hair look greasy.
I really dont know if its protecting the hair... it smells AMAZING. Also, i slept with my hair up in a ponytail and took it out.. my hair didnt look greasy, and it was still as straight as it was when i put it up. THIS NEVER HAPPENED before. i was so happy, lol. it keeps the hair straight but i really dont know if it protects the hair...

This smells amazing! You have to be careful on how many sprays you use. I have dry hair so it isn't too bad. Leaves my hair soft & shiny. I concentrate on my ends w/ this stuff. I use with L'oreal everpure smoothing s/c. :) HTH! continued >>

Not sure if I like this. I mean, it smells good and doesn't make my hair greasy, but is it really doing anything? I can't really say. I also don't know if it's really protecting my hair or not. I guess I will use up the bottle, but at this point I don't think I would really buy it again.

I'm on the fence with this one. I honestly don't know much about flat irons and protectors. Are they supposed to have alcohol in them? This one has alcohol pretty high up on the ingredient list and not one of the emollient alcohols either, we're talking denatured ethanol here. I think I prefer the Tresseme heat protector but I'll use this one up and maybe update my review.

I never write reviews, but when I found and used this product I had too. I have very very thick hair. If I go outside when it rains my hair immediately fizzes up and becomes "pouffy". I bought this product on a whim, thinking it would be like the others, but at the price it was worth a chance. I am in love with product. My hair actually lays flat and is perfectly straight. It left my hair soft and mangable. They day I used it, it was raining and to my surprise, my hair stayed straight with very minimal frizz. I would reccomend this product to anyone.

Wow wonderful results from this spray. I've tried them all and this works best on my highlighted slightly frazzled ends. My hair lays great after using this. Not too flat not too fluffy. Great stuff

I typically love Garnier products, but this one for some reason didn't work for me. First off, I don't really like the smell. Some of their products, like their Fortifying Shampoo have a fresh citrusy/apple scent which I love, and others have a coconuty smell. I get that it goes with their beach theme, but I don't really care for that scent. Nonetheless, I still bought it, thinking that I would get used to it, but after having to spray it on so many sections of my hair and inhaling it, I start to get a headache.
Secondly, for me, it made my hair feel crunchy and kind of dry after spraying it on. It got a little smoother after running my iron through my hair, but I felt like I had to run it through too much to get the smoothness I like, and as a result I feel like this product damaged my hair more than it protected it.
I also don't care for its nozzle. When I spray it on each section, the mist is so powerful that it gets all over my arm that is holding my hair and all over anything that's within its vicinity. I prefer a nozzle that produces a more direct spray and that is easier to spray.
The one thing that I did like and that I do appreciate about Garnier products is its price. I tend to use up heat protectants rather quickly because I have such thick hair, and this is a decent-sized bottle priced at about $4. Although this didn't work for me, I still think it is something worth trying out.

I love this product! I don't just use it for my flat iron either. It works just as well with the curling iron. Leaves hair shiny and smelling good - plus the heat protectant is good!

This is a very good straightening mist in my eyes, as I have tried many others before. It leaves your hair nice, soft and shiny afterwards and keeps it straight, straight, straight...even in rainy weather I noticed, wow!!!
It's definitely worth repurchasing!

smells good and it's a nice touch up spray once I've used the John Frieda "3 Day Straight"...when I wake up I MUST touch up my roots with a flat iron or blow dryer b/c I have extra curly hair and if I get even a little bit hot in my sleep, game over lol...love my versatile hair but when I want it straight, I want it frickin straight lol...won't give it 5 lipsticks b/c it will actually aid in making the roots curl up if I wait more than 5 seconds before applying heat...that's really the fault of my hair, not the product but whatever...I recommend and again, it takes away the burning hair stench

If you don't like to waste time straightening your hair everyday, buy this product. I spray it all over my hair, then brush, then I seperate my hair into sections and spray more on every sections and brush again. I swear to you, it will protect your hair from the heat and also keep it straight forever. Well not forever, but until you wash your hair. I wash my hair every other day or sometimes I don't wash it for 3 days and it still looks great! I only apply a little bit of hairspray before I got out and I'm good to go! Before I go to bed I tie my hair in a high loose bun and they look amazing the next day. I highly recommend this!!

O-M-G!! Love this spray before I flatiron. I am in love. I have some damage to my strands from a straightening process I did and this spray smoothes it out and makes my hair look great. Thank you Garnier!
