My actual rating is a 3.5. Deducted for container + low PPD.
I actually forgot to pack my facial SS for a wknd away - CRAZY since I'm OCD about using SS, especially on my face due to my melasma. My current is the d/c version of Avene Emulsion spf 50 (I have to use non-avobenzone SS due to my MMU). I purchased this in a panic since I HAVE to wear SS, especially since we were going to be outside + this was the only avo-free one on the shelf.
PROS
1. cheap
2. avo-free
3. wore all weekend comfortably (no shiness or overy dryness, blends well into my NC 15 - 20 skin)
4. no breakouts after wearing 2 days.
5. hi spf
6. I did not notice any fragrance
7. no burning or redness after 3 days (but I did wear a different, higher PPD SS on the day we were at the pool - I just didn't wear any MMU = could wear an avo-containing SS)
CONS
1. low PPD (5.2)
2. comes in screw top jar - would prefer a tube
If this had a higher PPD, I would continue to use as I like it...o well...up for swap this goes. I have listed the ingredients from the back of my package - FYI - there seems to be a variance of this product out there w/ different ingredients...
