My favorite of the 6 in the Avon Scentini collection. Plum Twist smells to me of tart fresh plums, sugared raspberries, fruit salad, hints of florals, and a subtle spiced creamy baked goods base. In the style of Jennifer Lopez Live Luxe but more fresh and less sickly than JLos so I found it way more wearable. Its fun to wear for the spring/summer and has such cute packaging! Lasts 2 - 3 hours on me.
TOP NOTES - Grapefruit, pomegranate, cranberry,
MID NOTES - Plum, rose, praline
BASE NOTES - Cinnamon
First of all the packaging of this is adorable. They're so cute, which is what drew me in. The scent is great for everyday, especially for spring and summer. It's fruity without being too overpowering. It lasts quite a long time and I would recommend it to people looking for an inexpensive perfume.
I tried all of the scentinis, and this one is by far my favourite. It isn't too strong which is good, but it doesn't last very long. Amazing price, and cute bottle. I don't feel it at all on my skin which is great, and it doesn't have glitter in it like some other ones. I don't really have anything negative to say about it, other that the fact that it doesn't last too long. The bottle is small enough that you can fit it in your purse easily, so you can just reapply if you want to.
The scent is great.
Although, the scent doesn't stay for a long time. But that's obvious :D
Really like this scent. The packaging is so cute too. Very fruity smelling, maybe a little bit of a musk as well. I don't think the lasting power is great, but you can reapply. Its a fun summer scent for a good price!
'Plum Twist' is part of the new trio of fragrances in the 'Scentini' line released by Avon. It is described as "A flirtatious fusion of dark plum and red berry topped with a playful praline swirl" on Avon's website.
I tried out all three but only ended up buying 'Plum Twist' because it was the one that appealed to me the most. It's sweet from the plum notes, but there's a bit of tartness which I'm guessing is coming from the cranberry/grapefruit notes. I like the tart notes since it cuts back the sweeter plum and makes it easier to wear when you don't want a scent that can get cloying throughout the day. Dry-down has a slight spicy feel to it (cinnamon?), but nothing too offensive from my perspective. It's more of a warm "baked goods" smell than a spicy herb scent. The Eau de Toilette is packaged in a 30mL bottle in the design of a miniature cocktail shaker which fits the name of this line. This fragrance is designed to be shaken first (like a cocktail) to mix the layers together and it has a slight oily feel to it (think Victoria Secret's Beauty Rush sprays with the two separated layers) and it's best to spray on skin rather than clothing. Small size makes it easy to carry in purse for touch-ups and it has weak staying power. Best suited for Summer nights.
