Price: $13 CAD
Colour: dark grey
Finish: glittery
Texture: actually 'glides on'
Pigmentation: opaque
Wear time: pretty much all day and all night
I like how the glitter actually shows up when you put this on unlike Rimmel Scandal Eyes in Black Sparkle, which is sheer black with some sparse shimmers.
I love these liners, I live in Texas where it's humid and it's usually 100+ degrees. These do not budge once they set and they are very comparable to UD liners in terms of glide, colors, and staying power. These are obviously much cheaper options and I like them just as much if not more. This color is a shimmery dark grey that looks very sophisticated and beautiful on the eyes, I am absolutely smitten with it even though i'm scared of wearing anything other than black as liner...i'm trying to get comfortable with less intense colors, though. I highly recommend these liners to anyone wanting a great alternative to UD or high end liners.

My all time fav for eyeliner is Urban Decay 24/7 zero. I ran out of my UD and although I had a new UD sitting in my room, I wanted to try the NYX slide on eyeliner - the cheaper alternative for UD as what my friend told me.
The first one I got was in Jet Black. As I always like the zero which is not TOO black in my opinion, I did not like the jet black too much. However, I did like the formula of the eyeliner. It's creamy, easy to glide on, stays on well, however IMO it has a tendancy to smudge on the eyelid compare to UD. But with just half the price of UD, I am down.
I went to ulta to get both the shades azure and gunmetal. IMO gunmetal is more of a dark grey but it appears to be more similar to UD zero. I havent given enough time to test the eyeliner out but now I am satisfied with the result so far.
I like this one! Minus 1 because I think that it doesn't stand out too strongly with its pigmentation and has a tendency to fade after a whole day (unlike Jet Black, which is strong from beginning 'til end) but it glides on, stays on, is simply beautiful and great in softer smokier look.

This is my go to eye pencil for work. It's not black nor is it grey. On my eyelid, its a dark grey that is almost black.
The slide on pencils are great. They go on smoothly, and once they dry, they don't budge. Does not apply too wet so you don't have to wait forever for the line to dry. Most mornings I just apply this and then a light wash of taupe or grey and I'm done.
The lighter colors in the line like jewel and gunmetal tend to fade a bit at the end of the day. I find that these pencils go on better when my eyelids are dry. On days when I've got a particularly moist eye cream on, they don't last as well.

The Slide on Pencils from NYX are new and they are a great product. The eye pencils are soft like a liquid liner, but there is no mess and there is nothing but intense color. According to NYX website, the pencils are waterproof, won't smear or smudge, and I found these statements to be true. I have used the pencils to tight line my top lid, and there is absolutely no color that ends up on my lower lid. Also, as usual the swatch pictured is much lighter than the actual pencil.
Gunmetal is the fourth pencil that I have purchased. I also own Jewel, Golden Olive, and Golden Bronze. I just ordered two more colors: Purple Blaze and Tropical Green. The pencils are more expensive than usual for an NYX product @ $8.00 a piece. I was lucky enough to purchase them for $6.40 with a 20% coupon. Be sure to look for the sales, because this is an eye pencil that you are going to want to own multiple colors. I highly recommend this product...
