I often use dark pressed powder eye shadow as liner, so I thought this loose powder liner wouldn't be very different in terms of application and wear, but I was wrong. It is impossible to apply dry because there is so much fallout. And it has no lasting power; even when applied wet, it smudges under my eyes (and I apply it only to my top lashes). The color is nice--a matte, soft black that is cooler (less brown) when applied wet. But once I've tightlined with it, I can't really tell whether I've applied Onyx, Pewter (dark gray), or Denali (dark green). Click "continued >>" below to see a swatch comparing these three shades.
