I picked up this super little iron at Sally Beauty Supply at a great price. I'm growing out a very short style, and because my hair is straight in front and curly in back, I need to do a bit beyond blow drying to get it looking right. This iron is small and slender (1" plates), and is superior for straightening, curling, and adding root lift. It has an on/off switch, a temperature setting dial (300-410 degrees F) which I love (so I don't fry my hair), an easy-to-grip shape, and is extremely lightweight. It does not snag or pull the hair and leaves it extremely shiny whether I'm straightening or curling. It comes with a heat-proof travel pouch, too. This little gem gives great quality for the price, and I would repurchase.
