This is my HG product!! I'd been trying to find a good lipstain for years, but couldn't find the perfect one. I absolutely hate Benetint even though it's probably one of the most popular ones out there. For me, Benetint is too dark and I end up looking like I should be on a Broadway show. After a while, it turns my lips a blue-ish color, which is NOT the look I'm going for. Also, it really stings my lips and causes wrinkles.
The Body Shop lipstain, on the other hand, is fabulous. It gives me a lovely healthy, glowy look - the raspberry pink color is very subtle but gorgeous on pale skin. If you have pale skin and dark hair, it will give you the Snow White look. I love the just-kissed, bitten lips look it gives you. I really hope it never, ever gets discontinued.

This product and benetint by benefits cosmetic has same function. This product looks very good in my cheek but not so longlast in my lips. but i think this product is so good. Not expensive but not too low
Ohhh i love this product! Have been using it for years, i'm using my 4th tube now. My I-have-to-use-this-product-before-going-outside thing.
It works really well on staining my cheeks, but I'm not using it for tinting my lips, though. I think it's not hygienic enough, using the same product to your cheeks and lips.
Cons:
- After a few times using this, the remaining product on the tube gets a little bit murky. Maybe the applicator is getting full of germs (?)
- Not a long-lasting product if you using it for everyday.
Pros:
- Very pigmented! Dab about 3-4 dots on each of my cheeks, blend it with my fingers and done!
- Stays on for about 8-10 hours
Give it a try! Amazing product!
I LOVE it - so so natural - really really natural but still does this just needed effect .
slight sweet taste !
I dont like loud make up so this is perfect for me day time and even camping or at the sea - slight tint for lips and cheeks .
but had the misfortune of not closing it properly ( my fault ) - and it stained my clothes and my legs - and when it stains it stains - i fought to get it all out !
also slightly pricy for what it is .

I got this free in a magazine, but would cost £10 in store. I wanted this as I wanted a cheaper alternative to benetint. I like the packaging, mine has never leaked. I put some on my finger and rub onto my cheeks for the best result as the stain will leave darker and liter patches on your cheeks otherwise. It looks nice on the lips straight after application, however it does not fade evenly which then looks awful. It feels sticky on the lips till it is dry.
I will not buy this again, but I will use this up.
I love this stuff!! It lasted me a year and I'm on my second tube now. You apply it to your cheeks and you have to blend it quickly, or it'll leave a weird stain, but it's not much of a problem. 4 lippies because it stains my fingers! But I would give 5 lippies to the product itself. Definitely recommend tho!
Fantastic product. I have very fair, lightly freckled skin and this works really well as a cheek stain. You can build the colour up and it looks really natural. As a lip colour it is ok on me but not great. It is a bit too fuscia to look natural on me. But I have been re buying it for about 5 years now. It is a make up staple.
I bought this product since 2004 and I love it! I've tried many types of blusher and I am not a big fan of lipsticks. But since I bought this product, I can't live a day without it! Gives me a natural rosy under the sun cheeks and my lips are stained well without over colouring or make me look like a clown. Only cons is that I have to apply it using my fingers and stain my fingers and the fact that applicator is used for both cheeks and lips, feels a little bit unhygienic. Surprisingly doesn't irritate my skin because i have very sensitive skin. Would prefer this than powder or mousse blusher. I love it! I wonder if Benetint gives a similar effect or better?
great product, but girls the best lip stain that will not budge for DAYS is red food dye!!! put a small amount on a qtip and evenly line your lips. if you want a pinker color, dilute with a small amount of water or hylauronic acid. it doesn't dry your lips at all and fades fairly evenly. i applied it last night, had a shower, cleaned my teeth and woke up with the color still there, only slightly faded. food dye is safe to apply and dirt cheap. you can also mix equal parts of red and yellow and then add small amounts of blue to make brown. adding more blue will make it darker.this can be used for eye liner (not the waterline). i tried this method, not to save money, but to have a long lasting lip stain and it works. the lip stain lasts for nearly 24 hours, the brown as an eyeliner not so long.

This is the first lip stain I bought. Got it due to the amazing reviews here, but it did NOT live up to the hype. Does not stay either as a lipstain or as a blush. On one hand, it can't wash off with water, but it fades throughout the day (sweat? oil?) and it is always gone after I eat. So I have to keep re-applying it. Compared to other lip stains I have since bought, the body shop's lip stain is the poorest at staying power. However, yes, nice pretty rosy colour, but it looks almost gaudy on me because it is too bright on my slightly tanned skin.
