This color is amazing - a shimmering pine green with gold glass flecks. It is so multi-dimensional. Like the other reviewers I did find the formula to be sheer and slightly streaky on the first coat, but it becomes opaque at three coats. This color ties with ChG Emerald Sparkle as my favorite dark green nail polish. Both are stunning, but MMutM is a more blue toned and complex shade whereas ES is a saturated emerald green. I love this color so much for winter!
Like the reviewers below, I too found the first coat patchy and quite thin. But at the second coat the opacity was nearly perfect aside from some very slight patchiness so I chose to do three. Adding a top coat highlighted the gorgeous micro-glitters. Personally I think this is a cool tone of forest green, but the lighter green glitters with hints of gold do warm it up immensely.
MMUTM looks great against my NW15 fair skin, and the staying power was acceptable lasting 4 days before minor chipping when using a base/top coat. It's everything I wanted ChG in Watermelon Rind to be (though that one is slightly more cool toned).
Overall the formula is great, the color is gorgeous and as will any Orly polish I admire the grip handle. I would repurchase!
Like others have noted, the first coat of this polish goes on patchy and thin, but the second and third coats apply perfectly for a streak-free finish. This polish looks acceptable with two coats, but three coats really makes the color pop. The color itself is a neutral forest green, but the green micro-glitter warms the color up when it catches the light.
When I put the first coat on, I thought this was going to be a disaster, it was quite sheer and patchy, but the second coat went on like a dream and I probably didn't need the 3rd coat, which i did anyway, to bring it to full opacity.
I did the second layer quite thick and smoothed it out to try and get as much glitter on as I could. It didn't bubble, and it dried very quickly, surprisingly quickly.
The colour is deep forest green with heaps of bright green microglitter with some gold hints, definitely a warmer green.
This is one of those polishes that i will use a lot because it is an unusual colour that is quick and easy to apply :)
This is a very unique colour! It is duo-chromed with the forest green being the main colour seen. There are slight purple/blue hues in this shade along with the gold and green glitter. Reminds me of Christmas things. Formula is pretty great. No complaints really - smooth formula and easy application. Would buy again.
