I really like e.l.f.'s Glossy glosses but this is not one of my favorite colors, I thought it was going to be a pinky nude but it's more of a brown nude and not that flattering on my NW15 skin. But like with all glossy glosses the consistency is great, not sticky at all, just very very creamy (comparable to the Revlon Super lustrous lip glosses). There's no shimmer or glitter in the product and it has a pretty strong but very pleasant vanilla/candy scent. The gloss has a brush applicator which I simply adore and the overall the container is quite nice, I really can't believe the product only cost 2 euros (got it on sale). The staying power isn't bad either, about three hours on me. Wouldn't repurchase this color but I will buy more from this line.
I can't say enough great things about this product and would love to see a package of the colors sold together so I can try all of them. It is a PERFECT nude and trust me, I've tried them all.
I was looking to widen my gloss selection, so I bought four of these glosses including Ballet Slippers. I love love love love it. It shows up as a nude color on me because I'm darker skinned and it looks wonderful. It'd be perfect with a smokey eye. The other four colors are great, too. I find that they go on sheer but i blot and reapply a second layer to get a bit more color punch. For $1.50 each, these are surprisingly great quality. I tried another elf color that is SO sticky. But these definitely have a creamy texture. They don't' feel "super light" but they're not tacky like glue at all. I have the deep, rich red color and I wore it out. It was so well pigmented it was still on when I woke up the next morning, and i ate and ate that night lol. If you're on the fence- get it. I watched tons of reviews and I'm glad I did because it convinced me to buy it. I showed my sister the color and she says it looks just like a color she has from MAC. I can't compare quality but she was truly surprised by the payoff and high-shine of these glosses.
LOVE THEM. Staple, forever.
My absolute favorite "every day" color, gloss-wise. I ordered it nonlinear and thought I was getting something much lighter, but was actually pleasantly surprised when I put it on. It's the perfect My Lips But Better shade, not quite nude, just my lip color, enhanced. It's not sticky at all, which was a huge shock for me. It's very comparable to NYX Mega Shine Lipglosses in consistency, which is great. Very smooth, and like I said, not sticky. It has a very light sweet scent, kind of fruity, but nothing too powerful. As far as I can tell, it has no flavor.
Wear-wise, it's average. I have to reapply after a few hours, or after eating, but that's generally what happens when a gloss isn't sticky. To me, that's a fair trade off. Super sticky glosses might be more long wearing, but they make me feel gross.
I will definitely repurchase this shade when I run out, and I'd like to look into other colors as well.
This is a really lovely cool pink gloss. This is a more baby-pink-milky pink. I am NC20-25 and this is a very light pink on me, but not nude. I have pretty pigmented lips, so this is fine for me. I don't find these glosses to have a distinct scent or taste, which is nice. They are slightly more stick than I would like - I would compare them to a MAC lipglass (but maybe a little less sticky than those). These have great pigment and last a while, too. These are $3 at Kmart, Target, or at eyeslipsface.com. I had to look around a bit at different Targets and Kmart to find this shade. I ended up finding this one at Kmart. I've bought three of these and am happy with each of them! If you are looking for a new lipgloss, these might be good to try!
