This is supposed to be very waterproof and I need a tinted physical s/s for the upcoming humid months. Currently I'm using Elta Physical but it doesn't hold up too well on those hot, humid summer days. (I have also recently tried Skinceuticals Physical Fusion which has a lovely finish but it clogs my pores if I wear it everyday). I didn't have any problems with this pilling as the below user did. Underneath I've been using a green tea serum, moisturizer and then the sunscreen. I don't wear makeup over this. It gives a nice smooth, matte finish and I noticed that my t-zone doesn't get as oily as it does with other s/s. Usually I'm touching up my t-zone with primer or powder every few hours but I can go almost all day with this. As far as the tint goes, it looks like a medium/dark beige straight out of the tube, but once rubbed in it really blends in with your skin and leaves just a hint of color. I think many skin tones could wear this, but nc15-20 is probably the lightest that could get away with it. This does not irritate my rosacea at all and so far hasn't clogged me. The only con would be the small 1.23 oz tube. Btw, I also tried the spf 50 untinted gel from this brand and it was way too drying, sucked all the moisture out of my skin even with moisturizer underneath. This one isn't like that at all and has a much better texture.

The good: the tint makes this blend into my skin, it feels lightweight on, it dries to a totally waterproof finish, and it leaves a slightly matte finish.
The bad: It really, really does pill up easily over anything else. And I like to use a vit-c gel or hydrating serum on most days under my sunscreen. And.....it is a paltry 35ml. just ONE OUNCE.
Still, great for travel or on the go since I don't need any powder or bronzer to make this look decent. Texture wise it is like a silicone primer.
Edited and upped to 5: I do not know what caused the pilling, but I no longer have this issue...maybe as others said, it was the speed of application since this dries fairly fast? Anyway.....I have certainly noticed that I do NOT get streaks with this after sweating or if I apply in a hurry, like I do with other sunscreens that I have to mix bronzer powder into in order not to look ghostly. Also, after 2 weeks of use it is certainly non irritating and not breaking me out.

Me: 24, sensitive combo/oily.
My experience: I've tried both this and the regular, untinted Mineral Screen Gel SPF 30+. In terms of finish, I prefer this version, because it feels slightly more moisturizing and silky without being greasy or shiny. The finish really is top-notch. However, it is MUCH too dark for my pale NC20 skin. It looks like a brown mask on my face and leaves the most obvious jaw/neck skintone disparity I've ever seen from a tinted sunscreen. I'd say this would start to be acceptable at around NC30. If you're darker-skinned than I and are in the market for a tinted sunscreen, this is a GREAT choice that I would definitely recommend for you. continued >>
