Angel face is a very sheer, milky nude with a hint of pink. I had hoped this would be the opacity I had been searching for in a nude, but it did not live up to my expectations! At four, yes FOUR coats (see my photo above) I still had some issues with streaking and patching, against my best efforts. I do admire the rubberized grip handles on Orly bottles, but this polish was a miss for me. The lasting power was about average, when using a base/top coat it lasted for 3 days before chipping. For those looking for a very sheer wash of color this could maybe work for you, but it's just not what I had in mind.. Would not repurchase!
I like the neutral color, but even with three coats I got a patchy result. Takes forever to dry, too. I do like the grippy top though.
HG!!! I love the opaque light, milky pink polishes and up until this point hadn't found anything that was perfect-some were close. I bought this yesterday and was a little unsure because in the bottle it looks almost identical to Essie Fiji which is way too pepto-bismol pink with the consistency of white-out. However, upon application you will see this is much more of a toned-down pink with a much easier application. This is the best milky-pink-ivory shade I've ever seen. LOVE! Just to compare to some other colors that are close:
Essie Fiji-Angel Face is less bright pink and not as chalky
Essie Vanity Fairest-Angel Face is more opaque with no shimmer
Orly Pink Nude-(this was my HG until I found Angel Face) Angel Face is slightly more pink, but less chalky looking, same opaqueness
Anyway, give it a try if you have NC 30-35 skin! This is my new favorite!
