I have the Black Lacquer version and I must say, I was very pleased with it for the first week. It gives volume and length, doesn't clump, gives a bit of curl, and is easy to apply with the brush. The Black Lacquer version is really nice and black. But after a week, I noticed that it does smudge. After a long day without any touch ups, I look like a panda. I need to look into to the mirror every hour and try to get rid of the black smudges I have under my eyebrows and under my eyes. The only way I can use this mascara now, is that I apply 1 layer of it and a top layer of another mascara. I can't use it by itself anymore.

As a true L'Oreal mascara - fan I was truly disappointed when I tried this mascara. It did not give a good result and it flaked off during the day. The mascara itself is large and somewhat difficult to maneuver..

I won this mascara as part of a hamper, and was pretty happy because L'Oreal make the mascara I was previously using and had liked. This one was alright when I first started using it, even though I had to wipe the excess mascara off the brush to use it. The longer I've had it though, the worse it has gotten. I've been using it daily for about 3 months now and the brush is getting more and more clogged with excess mascara which I then have to wipe off in order to not end up with lashes glued together by mascara into some kind of mono-lash. The brush design is interesting, and the fatter bottom end of the brush does help in getting into the corners of your eyes, but it picks up waaay too much product, so is too fiddly for me. Do not recommend.

I think this is a pretty good basic mascara, my lashes are pretty average length and very light so I really need something that can make them visible to the human eye and this does that quite well. It makes my lashes much longer after just one coat so you don't have to poke around with the mascara for 10 minutes. It hasn't smudged or flaked very badly but I wouldn't recommend going out running with this on. The tube looks really nice but it doesn't close as easily as it should.

I love 4D Lash Architect. I have very fine lashes, short and sparse. And I have pretty much given up on finding the perfect mascara until I found 4D Lash Architect. It gave me volume like falsies (don't you just hate how every brand claims that and fails to deliver) it gave me length AND volume. Yes, I agree with most of the reviews that it tends to be on the dry side but I don't really mind. It's a bit pricey too for a drugstore brand but with its performance, I would definitely buy it again.

Mixed feelings. Loved this product so much after just a few uses, super long thick lashes, but it dried out after only 2 weeks! I couldn't tighten the lid completely after opening so this was hugely annoying. I did attempt to clean inside the lid hoping it was the already dried up mascara that was stopping from tightening, no luck. Wasn't cheap for drugstore either, I think I paid £10 for it.

Ugh... not the worst but nowhere near the best. I must admit when I first layer this on in the morning it looks amazing; thick and long and luscious lashes which is what you want from a mascara. Fast-forward to midday and I have flakes underneath my eyes and black streaks just below my eyebrows from where this has smudged onto my skin... not impressed!!

ive brough 4 of these in the last 2 yearss, allll i ever buy, i layer it on like mad, it makes my lashes thick and long, a curved brush would make it 100% perfect as it would curve my lashes up and i wouldnt need eye lash curlers, but its amzing and the longg wand gets to alll my lash at the side too:)

I really love this mascara! I have thick and long lashes by nature and I find many mascaras very clumbing. But this is just perfect for me! It shapes my lashes beautifully, makes them long and gives them volume without clumbing. The 4D thing works great for me. The package looks great and the price is okay too. It's a great everyday mascara that gives me natural looking lashes, so I'll probably buy this again :)
