Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Not Sure Hair: Black, Other, Other Eyes: Other

I have sensitive skin and do use some makeup on a daily basis. So my requirements for a sunscreen is that it does not irritate my skin, has good broadspectrum coverage and sits well under makeup. This sunscreen satisfied them all.
I am a bit of a sunscreen snob and have tried numerous sunscreens but have not found any to be both cosmetically elegant AND non-drying. (The newest La Roche Posay one that claims to be non-greasy was indeed very light-weight but it contained alcohol. The same applies to many Japanese sunscreens and Shiseido. The alcohol helps to "dry up" the lotion faster so you are left with a non-sticky/shiny face. But it is hell for those prone to irritation. My cheeks were very flaky with those sunscreens and makeup doesn't go well over flaky skin.)
Now onto this particular sunscreen. It is a somewhat thicker cream that can leave a slight white cast on the face. However, it blends in easily with a little effort and sets in quickly. I only have to wait a couple of minutes before putting on foundation. The white cast doesn't bother me too much as a little bronzer fixes it easily. The best part is that the texture works well with all my foundations, be it fluid, cream or mineral makeup. It never balls up.
I chose the kids one as I read from other reviews that it is more moisturizing and water-resistant. Some days I only need to apply this without a moisturizer and it keeps my normal/combination skin quite happy.
so to sum up:
pros:
- natural micronized (not nano, i.e. safe) zinc oxide
- very water resistant
- moisturizing
- works well with foundation
- non-shiny, non-greasy
- fragrance-free
- contains antioxidants and paraben free
cons:
- slight white cast
- somewhat thicker cream
- need to order online as my local whole foods doesn't carry this, but shipping is fast
I have used up a tube of this and have since repurchased two more. I am very happy with this sunscreen.

Age: Unknown Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brown, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Blue

I have been using this on my face for about 2 weeks. The drawbacks: it leaves a sheer paleness that is weird on my skintone....that is easily fixable with some liquid bronzer mixed in before application or powdering afterwards. It seems very waterproof, although like everything it is NOT sweatproof at all and there will be white streaks everywhere as soon as real sweating begins. It does seem slightly drying, even on my oily skin, but not so bad I cannot use it over a plain moisturizer. And sometimes I get a warm/flushed feeling when I apply this, which I suspect is due to the vitamin C in it.
It does dry quickly to a nearly-matte finish. And is available in the US by mail order. I wish it had better UVA protection but given the ingredients available in the US, and the fact that my skin cannot tolerate avobenzone, I think they did a good job with this one.
