This lotion smells like vanilla beans and its wonderful. It is decent for the price ($4 US) and comes in 10 oz. Of all the scents from this line this is my favorite by far. It's a light version of their body cream in the same scent. The lotion is less moisturizing than the body cream and more suited for summer IMO. For this reason alone I took off one lippie. I feel it could be more moisturizing for the price.
It is light enough that you don't feel the lotion on and smells very natural. The scent lasts for hours on me. I have no irritation and have been using this entire line for over a year. I find it much better in quality than Body Shop's scented lotions that are similar in texture and would definitely repurchase and have many times. In comparison Body Shop's lotions that are this strongly scented are sticky and do not moisturize as well. I am NOT referring to their body creams, they are very different.
Pump on the bottle turns to lock/unlock. This smells like a milder Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar; however, it is not as harsh (doesn't have that "burnt" note). This is not a creamy, cupcake vanilla - it is musky; however, the body lotion smells smoother and creamier than the bath & shower gel and the fragrance mist. The vanilla, brown sugar, and coconut milk can all be detected. This is a comforting and cozy scent. I layer this with the ULTA Vanilla Sugar sheer fragrance mist, and the scent has decent lasting power; however, it is very light. The texture is thin and runny. It sinks into skin immediately, and is not greasy. Even though this is light-weight, it is still fairly moisturizing (the body butter is more "moisture-intense").
This scent is meant to smell like vanilla, brown sugar, and coconut milk. To me it smells very artificial, chemically, and plasticy. It does have a sweet vanilla scent but it still just smells very synthetic. It performs like a standard lotion and it's not greasy.
