This anti-perspirant lasted about 2 months. It does feel a bit sticky after applied, but it did not bother me. I bought it in the Shower Fresh scent, which did seem overpowering for me because I prefer fragrance free deodorants. Next time I will buy it in the unscented version (which I have found at Walgreens). I have not gotten on my clothes, but then I am careful when I put on my shirts after I apply deodorant. Lastly, I find that it did prevent odor all day, but I could smell the shower scent at times. In summary, I would purchase again, but in the Unscented version.
Ok, let me first say that no deodorant ever works for me anymore. Nothing can combat my armpit odor. NOTHING. I even tried the clinical strength versions--didn't work. There was still a hint of armpit odor. So I saw this has 25% of the active ingredient, whereas others only have 18-19%. I have worn it for about 5 days and wow, no odor! Throughout the day it was a little sticky but it stopped being sticky completely already. I am amazed that my armpits don't have any hint of B.O. I will update if my opinion changes for some reason, but for now, I freakin love this deodorant and believe me, I have tried all OTC deodorants (they failed.)

I don't get the hate on this Deodorant! This has been my savior!! I have noticed, in my adult years (I'm 35), that not many deodorants work on me anymore. What used to work for me to control odor and wetness no longer do me any good! It's been SO frustrating!
Since I have found Mitchum, overall, this brand has been the BEST. Who woulda thought it? I've tried them all, and Secret (surprisingly, with all the commercialism and hype) has been the most worthless.... The Mitchum Power Gel is BULLETPROOF for me. Yeah, it's a clear gel formula, so it will feel "sticky" and "wet" when you first apply. That's normal for a gel... But you have to apply it right, which isn't that difficult.
You apply to dry underarms, and you stand with your arms up in the air for a few minutes-- even better, stand under the ceiling fan for a minute. This will "set" the gel and it will no longer feel wet. You won't feel it at all, actually. And you will stay dry and odor-free well into the next day, which NO deodorant has ever done for me, EVER! Plus the gel never leaves any marks, and like one reviewer said below, leaves NO residue. So get some if you're having trouble finding something that keeps you dry and odor-free more than just a few hours, and remember to apply it in the correct way!
*IMPORTANT UPDATE* OK- I read the bad reviews on this deodorant, and I'm wondering which scent they were using, because I was always using the "Flower Fresh" scent, and always loved it, but the other day, I accidentally picked up "Powder Fresh" scent, and it was sticky and gooey and wet as hell. Just like some of the negative reviewers had described. I can't imagine why the formula might vary between different scents, but this MIGHT be the problem. TRY FLOWER FRESH! :)

This is horrible stuff! Made my pits sticky like I had put honey under them. I had just applied it and was doing my hair. I wasn't dressed yet & everytime I lifted my arms to mess with my hair I kept thinking what is that sticky feeling?? Well then I realized it was this deodorant!! I had to wash it off immediately. I cant stand the feeling of anything sticky on my skin. I have never had any gel deodorant be sticky like this. I will not be purchasing again. continued >>
I feel like this takes forever to dry, it's the only deodorant I've owned that I constantly get on my shirts, even when I think after several minutes I should be okay to get dressed. And, when it does get on a shirt it's very hard to get out
I hate his deodorant. I hate the feel of gel under my arms and I really can't handle the smell. It almost smells like B.O. itself. This doesn't give me any 'powerful protection' that it offers.
I have the Mitchum Power Gel for men in mountain air. This deodorant/antipersperant works amazingly. This gel is the only deodorant I've ever used that seems to work fairly well. I've been using this for 6-7 years. I can honestly say, the gel is more effective than the solid. The gel seems to really help stop the perspiration, or lessen it. I put this on at night & it does the trick. This leaves no residue & is clear, so you can't even tell you have it on. It dries pretty fast for the most part. I'm usually really sensitive to powerful deodorants, but this one doesn't irritate my skin in any way. My underarms stay dry for 2 days without reapplying. This is a step below an antipersperant like Certain Dri. I have Certain Dri, but I haven't used it yet....it's still in the box. I don't have an extreme problem with perspiration, but I still like to stay as dry as possible. This is a great antipersperant. I highly reccommend. I will continue to buy Mitchum:) continued >>
I switched to this antiperspirant when I could no longer find Mitchum Smart Solid in any fragrance except Powder, which I dislike. I continue to be impressed by Mitchum antiperspirants. I sweat a lot, but I also have very sensitive skin that is irritated by some very strong antiperspirants, such as Certain-Dri. This product keeps me dry without any irritation. It doesn't leave a white residue on my clothing as long as I let it dry completely before dressing, which can take a few minutes, since as the previous reviewer noted, it's really easy to over-apply this product. But this small flaw won't keep me from repurchasing. The stores in my area have a pathetic selection of Mitchum products, so I was able to find this antiperspirant only in the Powder Fresh and Shower Fresh scents. So I use the Shower Fresh, which is an acceptable, clean fragrance. But I'd like to try the Spring Fresh and Flower Fresh scents if I ever see them.

This is a review on Mitchum Power Gel Unscented for Sensitive Skin with 25% Aluminum Sesquichlorohydrate (for the rest of the ingredients please refer to the ingredient list)
This would definitely replace all of the antiperspirants on the market if it wasn't for it's poor packaging! If you checked out my review on Drysol, you know I'm a model guinea pig for quality antiperspirants as I perspire profusely regardless of the situation.
I can't say anything bad about the formula at all: it's a clear gel, non-sticky and completely scent-free. When applied immediately after shaving, there wasn't even a hint of irritation or any form of discomfort which is a rare thing with strong antiperspirants I experienced. It kept my armpits almost bone dry, there was still a bit of perspiration but it didn't feel excessive at all and I personally felt relieved that my glands weren't blocked completely. Lastly, when applied correctly, I didn't notice any staining on my clothing or that common for clinical grade sticky-gunky residue I usually struggle scrubbing off in the shower. HG?
Almost. All the good qualities of this product go out the window because of terrible packaging. Directions recommend applying a thin layer to underarms; however, that is nearly impossible because the dispensing wheel doesn't control the quantity at all. In fact, that flimsy wheel is so sensitive, you can accidentally move it ever so slightly during the application and will end up with a load of goop on your arm pits. You need a tiniest bit for it to dry fast and to be effective and non-sticky. Even if you think you have a fair amount, try using less. It took me a week to get adjusted to the packaging because it's also pretty wide and smears the deodorant way past the "hot zone" which is pretty ridiculous. I ended up wasting so much of this product, I am glad it was priced averagely for 80 g container :)
Best tip I could suggest for headache-free use is to make sure your underarms are very dry prior to application (I hit mine with a hair drier for a quick moment lol) and then use your finger to control the exact amount you need.
