Here is what I like about it:
o I use retin-A and my skin is generally sensitive around the nose. Most drugstore sunscreens irritate my face. This feels very good on my face. It feels somewhat moisturizing and 100% non-reactive.
o It seems to stay on pretty well. I use it before I go on long sweaty bike rides and when I come home and shower I can still feel it on my face. The packaging says "very water resistant."
What I do NOT like:
o It makes my face look disgusting. A white, sickly cast and very shiny and greasy. Since it is pretty creamy, I really wouldn't want to put any make up or anything over it; I feel like I would have a ton of product on my face.
CONCLUSION: This is the sunscreen I wear when I won't be seeing anyone but want good protection for sweaty activities. For example, when I go on long solo bike rides. I would not buy again but will probably use this up.

The tinted one is wearable, but this is just a no-go unless you're going to the beach. The white cast is sickly, and the white seems to attach to every single pore. Also, I actually had darkening of some freckles while wearing this, and I am skeptical of the PPD of 42. I had better results wearing a Neutrogena ss/moisturizer. The price is ridiculous on this, especially purchased in high end pharmacies, which is the only place to buy this in US if not online.

Oh ladies, I so wanted to like this product after reading so many good things about this brand. I started to look for an alternative because my current favourite sunblock is running out. This is for the formula made in France, so the price was 10 euros on sale. Thank goodness I did not pay too much for it. The reason for giving it a poor rating was because there was still a white cast on my face 10 minutes after applying the right amount you had to to get adequate protection - about half to a third of a tsp. Moreover, the texture is very thick and I find it too rich for my liking (considering I had to apply this along with the serum, moisturiser, foundation etc). Thank goodness it was a day spent in and I did not have to put on any makeup to go out. Just not feeling the magic with this one, unfortunately.
