This product has its ups and downs. I love the packaging, especially the pump. The actual product matches my skin tone pretty well, but the actual foundation has close to no coverage over the occasional pimple, I've noticed that after a couple hours it slowly fades away to the point where there are random foundation spots of your face.

This smells beautiful and is light coverage foundation that doesnt last long, but the finish is dewy and pretty. Good for people with skin that has no problems or few flaws, will not cover anything.

I was a bit disappointed with this foundation. After I tried the Healthy Mix foundation and loved it, I decided give this one a go. If you have near perfect skin then I think this could be an excellent option for you. But if you are like me and your skin tone is bit uneven, then I don't think this is the foundation for you. It's definitely a light coverage not a medium one, so if you want something that covers scaring you'd be better off with the Healthy Mix foundation. It is a gel formula and it feels dewy when you apply it but then drys to a skin like finish. I have very dry skin, and for some reason I found the Healthy Mix foundation to be more hydrating then the Gel Serum. I did purchase this in shade 51 during the winter. I'm about Nc20. If you're on the lighter side of Nc20, go with 51. If you're on the darker side, go with shade 52. (52 is my summer shade.) If I had better skin I could see myself really liking this foundation but sadly at the moment this foundation doesn't sit well on my skin and doesn't provide me with enough coverage. This foundation is between a 2 and a 3 rating for me.

The coverage & texture of this is nice but I find the strong smell a but too overwhelming. After using it on & off I have realised that this breaks me out terribly which is something I haven't had from any other make up. I literally with have clear skin for weeks then I wear this & by the end of the day I have several spots. I've just threw the bottle away as I don't want to risk using it anymore.

I have been using this a lot and it's safe to say this is an amazing foundation. It has good coverage but is not heavy. I adore it and always get compliments. I think this is totally fab and is just as good as any high end foundation!

I've been using this for a year now. honestly I'm used to high end foundations so this one was more of "meh, I'm almost out so might as well grab it and give it a shot" kind of purchase.I have combination skin with red undertones, not alot of blemishes but I'm not going to be featured in a pond commercial either! The bottle has a pump on it so I was happy with that, coverage was light to medium so not really that good, even with a light powdering it didn't last very long. Now I think it's a mistake to compare the brands I'm used too (MAC and Makeup Forever) because it cost half the price. Also it was marketed as a medium coverage product, which it was! the other brands sell you almost full coverage and yet call it medium coverage... this one is more honest about it.I might repurchase it again for daily use but honestly... this produce was made for people in their late teens and early 20's ( they expect you to not NEED much coverage at that age, although I realize that most follow youtubers that just pack it on at that age you have to admit most of them don't need half of that!) so for more formal events I'll go back to higher tier brands that give me better coverage. It's gentle with sensitive skin but you need to hydrate, dry patches will show as with most foundations that are not full coverage.

verall i pretty good foundation. im an nc20 and 51 works pretty well for me. love this foundation. smells great, and feels great. i jusy apply it with my hands over moisturizer and it basically lasts me all day. i do powder it though. id say the coverage is medium, lighter than the not serum version but still quite a good medium. i normally have to use concealer for bad days tho.

First Impression: Hesitant because of the limited shade but absolutely LOVE LOVE IT! Definitely recommended to those who have similar dry/dehydrated skin and who are after an everyday / ‘no make-up’ look. The finish is between matte and dewy. Recommend to use loose powder for oily areas and/or pressed powder for extra coverage and longer cover. It is my go-to, daily foundation and my skin feels amazing! I have been looking for a new foundation lately to wear everyday in the office - something hydrating with light to medium coverage, and of course inexpensive. I decided to give Bourjois liquid foundation a try due to its high review rates and it ticked my boxes - light & hydrating. Apparently Bourjois owns Chanel too! Anyway I headed out to the nearest Priceline and was a little disappointed with the range. There were 4 different types of Bourjois liquid foundation available and unfortunately with very limited shades – 3-4 shades each and most were on the lighter and pink tones. (According to the Priceline website there are 6 shades available for the Serum range which you can purchase online but the George St Syd store only had 3 shades) I decided to go for the Healthy Mix Serum Gel in 55 dark beige – closest to my hand’s skin tone and according to other reviews, the serum base is the lightest coverage but apparently very good for dry/dehydrated skin – totally agree! AUD$32 for 30ml which comes in a glass pump bottle.APPLICATION:For my first attempt, I used one pump, used my fingers and applied it like as if I was applying a serum all over my face. I was so impressed – It seriously felt so light on the skin! I thought I’d skip the powder for the morning, 5 hours later I did get just a little shiny and just applied a little bit of tinted loose powder using tissue. If I didn't have powder, it wouldn't have bothered me as it really wasn't that bad! My skin felt fresh and supple all day, I did touch it several times during the day to feel if I had oil seeping through but didn't feel it all so I was a little surprised when I saw myself in the mirror. For my second attempt, I dabbed the product all over my face with my fingers and used a dual fibre brush to spread and blend. Visually I don’t think it made a difference so whichever method is comfortable. I used the same dual fibre brush to apply tinted loose powder on my tzone. Definitely looks more polished and skin still feels amazing – soft and supple and fresh!I am still playing around with – with / without powder, loose / pressed powder, mineralize etc... and in all honesty it doesn’t matter how I have applied it, it consistently impresses me!COVERAGE & LONGEVITY:I don’t wear a lot of foundation so personally I would say this is actually a ‘medium’ coverage (compared to MAC Face and Body, this has more coverage). Basically it covers what I need to cover without looking like I have packed on foundation! I was quite surprised as it suited my face skin tone – I thought it would be too dark but it blended out really nicely and evenly. I have only been using this foundation for the office so far so it does last... If I were to go out after work I would probably touch up a little but for every day I haven’t had the need to.I do have dark circles so that is the only thing that It does not provide coverage for, however because this is so hydrating I can now pack on some concealer under my eyes without drying my skin.Overall I really do love it and I do recommend it so personally I would give it a 5/5 however the colour range is not the best. The 5-Dark Beige seemed dark for me but once applied and blended to my face, it actually looks a little light which is OK because a little bit of contouring doesn’t hurt! It’s not obvious at all but I noticed in flashed photos, my face do look a little white.[My Skin Analysis: Combination – Oily Tzone and tendency to have dry skin especially during colder season. Under eyes – dehydrated with dark circles and fine lines. Small blackheads on the nose, and visible medium pores on the cheeks. Light-medium Asian skin tone and not prone to breakouts]

I got this foundation two days ago after going through pages and pages of liquid foundations for oily skin here on MUA. I hadn't yet made my mind up whether to pick this one or L'Oreal's liquid powder (I believe that's what it's called), went to the drugstore and found out this one had my exact shade. I was so excited, because I found it without any trouble. I also noticed right when I was swatching it on my arm that it was lightweight and easy to blend, and so I bought it. I tried it yesterday and I'M IN LOVE. It's light coverage but that's what I wanted. It smells awesome, blends so easily, sets quickly and doesn't feel like you have it on your skin. I wore it for 4 hours and I didn't appear greasy at all. Great product, even though I didn't like Bourjois before (I've had some of their products before and I liked none of them as much as this).
