I bought this expecting a high quality sunscreen that was moisturizing, made specifically for the face. What I got was a beautifully packaged vial of zinc oxide. About the most inexpensive sunscreen out there. It did NOT disappear into my skin, it left an easily seen white film on my skin, and attempts to rub it in created a sticky surface which then produced little white rolls. Ugghh. No moisturizing noticed at all. I returned the product for a refund.
The "more" must be some sort of drying agent. This did not moisturize my skin at all. In fact, it dried it out and made it peel. It looks like my face got sunburned and peeled. My skin is combination and not dry by any stretch - so I found it very odd how much this dried my skin out. Right now my face feels tight and slightly burns. FAIL!
I really didn't think I'd like this product. I have very oily skin and tend to avoid moisturizing products. However, my skin is also very sensitive to SPF, and tends to sting whenever I use it, so I wanted something that worked well and didn't allow my skin to burn in the sun, as well as didn't chemically burn my skin the second it touched my face. I'm happy to report I've finally found my sunscreen!
This product smells good, sort of like an orange creamsicle. It has no color and despite its moisturizing properties, sinks into my excessively oily skin and stays matte. Even after applying makeup, I find my makeup stays matte looking for a longer period of time (which is nothing short of a miracle with my skin!) I'm a green-eyed red-head, and if this SPF didn't work, I would have the sunburn and freckles to show for it - it works! Best of all, no stinging or burning on my sensitive skin. This is a keeper!
Yes, it's expensive, but there are frequent promotions on this product that I've found on the Perricone Facebook page where you can get it free with the purchase of another product. Bottom line, I would pay for it if I needed to in order to not experience the nasty stinging and burning that I get with every other product I've tried in my 44 years!
