My daily moisturizer is Neutrogena Ultra Light for oily skin. I love this product. But lately, it seems to be hard to find in my country (Argentina). That's why I needed to try another moisturizer. I had heard good opinions about L'oreal Hydrafresh and I decided to try it. Finding a moisturizer with soft, light, texture was my priority. I needed a product that my oily skin can absorb quickly. I thought the gel/cream texture of L'oreal Hydrafresh could be the right option for me. In that point, I had a new problem. I couldn't find the version for oily skin (I don't know if it's not available in my country or if it's just hard to find). The only version of L'oreal Hydrafresh that I could find was the moisturizer recommended for dry or sensitive skin. I decided to buy it, considering that my skin is not only oily; it's very sensitive too. It was a good choice.
The texture is exactly what I was looking for. Soft, light. You don't feel it heavy on your skin. The product melts on your skin leaving a fresh, slightly cool sensation on your face. It absorbs very quickly. As a result, your skin feels smooth, not greasy, not shiny. The product has a nice smell (not invasive). I haven't had any skin problem using this product.
The only disadvantage I've found on it: it doesn't have SPF. If L'oreal made this cream with SPF 15 at least, it would become a perfect moisturizer.
I tend to think that in cosmetic industry, the most expensive things are always the best ones. But I had a pleasant surprise with Hydrafresh. By buying it, you get a really good product and its price is more than affordable.
Of course, I'll keep looking for the version recommended for oily skin because I really want to try it.

Light. Good for humid weather and for oily skin too.
Use only a little bit. Slather it on, blot with tissue and it won't look gummy.
It's like a cheaper version of Clinique's Moisture Surge. I like that it has no SPF, L'Oreal's SPF stuff makes my eyes water. Don't know if I'll repurchase though. There are many moisturisers out there and this one isn't fantastic enough for me to give others a miss. Plus the damn thing is in a jar not a tube, which exposes more product to the environment. Why can't they just put it into a tube?
EDIT: Prolonged use (once a day for a fortnight) gave me zits on my cheeks.

This product was awful for me. I bought it cheap at the airport for approximately £4. It was the pink jar for dry skin, in a gel/creme type texture. Although I slathered on loads my skin was still really dry and I suspect the moisturiser doesn't absorb into skin well. It just sat on my face! After a few days I switched back to my normal dermalogica stuff and my skin is happy again.
I think this is my lesson well learnt that cheap moisturisers don't work! L'oreal is owned by the same group as Lancome and I have heard before that the formulations are similar. I have also used Lancome's Hydrazen, and although I wouldn't repurchase, the reason is more so because it is overpriced rather than it doesn't work at all!

The only reason I bought this moisturizer is because I heard it's oil free and I need a moisturizer that wouldn't break me out. I don't know where to begin on how awful it is. It burns when I apply it, leaves me face bright red and reflective, stays greasy and shiny for hours, leaves my face sticky (eew!) and isn't very moisturizing. I also don't like how it's in a tub as opposed to having a pump but that's nothing compared to the stuff I mentioned above. The only pro is that it didn't break me out.

The only reason I bought this was because it seemed like a good moisturizer for a good price. It did moisturize but not as much as I needed, its ok but nothing impressive.

I always thought this is a hydrating product. But i was so wrong, well i nvr blame the product but my hypersensitive skin. I got breakout in just a few days. Problem skin users, this is not the one you should use. It irritates my skin and caused redness, i will stop using it but will only apply it on my body.

I bought this is France at the airport duty free for 6 Euros - roughly £4. It's great! I used to use Clinique; Keihls; Philosophy and decided to try this rather than spend huge amounts of money. It's great! The smell is yummy and my skin feels hydrated and fresh :) would buy again because big beauty brands aren't always the best.
EDIT: Right I'm no longer using this stuff, it breaks me out in eczema dermatitis. I love the smell though. I really sensible difficult skin though :(

I have normal/dry skin and this is definitely not hydrating enough when I'm in the US. However when I picked this up in Asia (where it has not been discontinued) last summer, this was perfect for the more humid weather. It is light weight, heavily but nicely scented, and super cheap! Make sure the lid is tightly capped though, or else it'll dry up pretty fast.

Crappy. Thats what it is. Caused breakouts, was far too oily and not moisturizing enough. I gave it to my mother, she didn't like it very much either, she found it "too heavy and oily." (My mom has normal/dry skin, I have normal/oily t-zone)

I used to buy this some years ago and really liked it and found it super hydrating. Recently I bought it again because I remembered liking it back then, but I think they have re-forumalated this product! When I apply it, the consistency is nice, sort of gel-like. The problem is that I feel like it sits like a film on my face rather than being absorbed into my skin. Also, once it dries, it feels sort of sticky. I have combination skin but didn't feel it's hydrating enough on my dry patches. I'm about halfway done the jar and I will def not repurchase this!
Update: I use Olay complete now, it's way better.

Not very moisturizing and sometimes makes my face itchy, I don't know why. I'm about to finish my jar and won't repurchase.

I have combo skin that leans toward the extremely dry side, particularly in the t-zone (which also gets shiny toward the end of the day -- talk about impossible skin....). I found that this moisturizer wasn't heavy enough for my skin. It's a light, gel-based moisturizer that comes in a pretty pink pot, and I personally loved the smell, as I swear it's a dead ringer for Clinique's Happy! But unfortunately, pretty packaging and a pleasant smell don't make a good moisturizer....

it's very much alike the biotherm aquasource one. unexpectedly moisturizing in this cream/gel base.but the smell is a little strong, sensitive skin may be irritated by it.

I've been buying it twice. And after the second time I understand that ther's nothing spesial about it. I liked when I was 22, but not now(almost 25). Doesn't give me enough moisture in periods of dri skin. En ok moisturizer for normal skins and young girls w/o skin problems :) The package is not hygenic though. Will not repurchase.

Did no moisturizing done for me. My skin flakes and dry patches remains. Maybe I'm a sensitive skin, I don't know, but I will not repurchase. The only good thing about it is the texture: glides nicely and it's somewhat velvety. It gives a fresh, shiny sheen at first application. And the search for my HG moisturizer continues..

I used this for normal/combo skin about 2 years ago. I though it would be good for summer. It was horrible, like a layer of glue on my face. What's more, it irritated my skin and got me lots of bumps after a few times of use. It was strange because my skin was normally not that sensitive. It took my face a long time to clear up after I stopped using it. This was the most horrible experience in my skincare history. I began avoiding using all L'Oreal products altogether since then. Still scared.
