My new favorite mask! I actually like this more than my Queen Helene Mint Julep one!! I use it once a week, and when I wash it off my skin has a nice glow to it. I mostly like all the natural ingredients, and the fact that it comes in a cute tub. Normally I HATE any product that comes in a tub, but since I only use this once a week I don't find it as annoying. I just spoon some out onto a small plate and then apply directly to my face! I leave it on for like 15 minutes even though it says 5 on the box..I find that it really sucks the impurities out of my skin ESPECIALLY the oil!! If you keep it on for longer then 5 minutes I recommend applying a good moisturizer right after!

This stuff is great! After using it, my face instantly feels smoother and softer. I use it about 1-2 times a week. Digging it out of the tub is a little annoying, though. However, I think it's the only way it could be packaged. Probably too thick to work in a pump or tube.

What I love about this mask is that it gives me instant results. I have gotten compliments on my skin after using it. I have oily, acne prone skin and I wouldn't say that this does anything for blemishes as much as it just makes your skin feel nice and look glowing. I think it is good for preventing acne just by getting rid of the dead cells and everything.
This is for people with oily skin, so the reviewers who had a problems probably don't have skin that's very oily, or are just sensitive. Also you should not be using this more than two or three times a week, that's just common sense.

I got the "Total Treatment Facial Mask", which may or may not have the same ingredients as the Skin Clearing Facial Mask. I think this version is the previous incarnation of this product.
It works pretty well for my acne-prone, congested skin. It does not work complete miracles on all of my blemishes, but I see a difference if I don't use this at least once a week. It does not dry completely hard like your average clay mask, but contains quite a few skin conditioners that leave your skin fairly soft and clean once you rinse it off. I still think it deep cleans pretty well.
The downsides: It is pretty hard to apply an even coat of this; the best way I have found is to apply a thin coat and build up slowly from there, otherwise the results can be pretty patchy. I would also advise a patch test first. The first few times I used it, it irritated my cheek area and burned for several minutes after application. I have not had a problem since though. It is pretty highly scented, which may or may not appeal to some also. I find the scent pretty pleasant. I would buy it again.

Unfortunately, Target rarely stocks the Tomatoes (blemish) line, preferring to stock the anti-aging and sensitive skin lines instead. Most Yes to Tomatoes products must be bought online through their official website – which takes forever to ship. Anyway, the mask was nice but unmemorable. It smelled alright and felt fine, but I don’t recall anything special about it. Like many clay masks it dries in storage after some time. I would still recommend it though, since it didn't make me break out and it's a natural product that may work very well for others.

Before I get start I want to say that, THIS IS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE OILY AND ACNE PRONE SKIN!!!!! So if you have normal skin with like 5 zits, this is not for you and it WILL dry out your skin! So if you DONT have oily skin or acne prone skin then DONT be stupid and use it! OK well now on to my review.
I have OILY skin on my t-zone (nose, chin, forehead) and I have acne around my mouth on my nose and on my forehead. My cheaks are relitativley normal (considering I have a skin issue with them). I use the mask once a week (Sundays) because I do play alot of sports and Sundays are considered my "day off". Because I play alot of sports, I sweat...alot. so alot of dirt and gross stuff gets all in my pores. After using this JUST one time my skin FELT cleaner LOOKED cleaner and I noticed a difference in the tone of my skin! There was a smell and I can't really explain it but I didn't mind it at all it smelled good to me. I leave it on for the recommended 5 minutes it doesn't feel like it works but it does trust me! If you leave it on any longer you skin will start to burn and turn red and you don't want that. But over all I will be repurchesing it again! And I recommend this to people with OILY AND ACNE PRONE SKIN ONLY!!

I really like this mask and have definitely had a reduced number of breakouts since I've started using it. It irritates my face a little bit, but it's not that bad. It usually starts tingling after a few minutes and sometimes leaves my face a little red, but that's likely because I often leave it on longer than the reccomended 5 minutes. It's a little on the expensive side but is worth it if you have frequent breakouts. The only thing I really hate about this product is the lack of good directions. The only thing it tells you is to apply after cleansing and leave on for 5 minutes. But it doesn't tell you how often to use it, if your skin should be wet, damp, or dry, if it's okay to use on sensitive skin, ect. Overall, it's a great product and I'd likely buy it again.

I really like this! I have pretty oily skin that has been having a serious amount of breakouts lately (and at 35, that's NOT a good thing)...this helped clear up a LOT of them. Quick to dry, quick to work, and I will definitely buy it again!

I just bought this yesterday and used it last night!
pros: great packaging, easy to apply, shrunk pimples, cleared out most clogs, my face felt all sparkly and wonderful clean afterwards
meh: stung a little, not the easiest to wash off, the smell
cons: expensive, drying, made my face red (by this morning its gone)
bottom line: great for oily skin, if you turn pink easily like me, i recommend you use it at night or when you have a few hours to let your face calm down and be sure to moisturize afterwards.

Very good mask!
When I used this the first time, it was after a facial (my mistake I know) and I felt the mask was burning my skin. I wahsed it off in the next minute. I tried it one week after (no facial this time) and it did wonders. It made my skin clean, clear, my pores smaller and it even faded some of my recent scars. It also left my skin smooth.
The downside: I find it difficult to apply it. At first I was just taking the mask with my finger, from the jar, and trying to apply it on the face. It was really hard to do this and also to put my fingers in the jar so many timesis not good. Now, I wet my fingers and I just touch the mask, it is less quantity on my fingers but it has the same results; like this I apply it easily.
This is very good.

I use this mask immediatly after cleansing (with CeraVe hydrating cleanser) and it works pretty well to decrease redness and irritation. I also hop in the tub for a hot bath after, as it leaves my skin kind of dry- the steam from the bath helps to plump up my skin again.
all in all, It's a good mask if you have a few irritated black/white heads to take care of :)

Uh oh...I'm addicted.
I used this on my face tonight and could immediately see a difference when I rinsed it off. That never happens!
I think I'll use it on my lower back tomorrow...for some reason I have a little bit of a break out there. Why oh why? It's summer time, I needs to be bare skinned and free! Haha...
I have oily skin and it did leave my face a tad parched, but I find I'm a-okay with their moisturizer on. So if you don't have oily skin, it may be too much for you.
Also, the smell is heavenly...I did sit ups, push-ups, etc. while I had it on and it kept wafting at me, all yummy like.

I like this mask a lot. It feels great on your skin and leaves it feeling smooth. It smells okay, too.
I admit it is a little bit drying, but I fix that by rinsing my face a few times and moisturizing directly after I take it off.
It has cleared my skin somewhat, and it's almost like having a little spa in your house.
Remember, if you buy this that you've got to moisturize after you use this. ;) Good luck.

A little bit harsh on my skin but the tiny red spots it left on my skin cleared up very quickly. Has a nice smell and you don't need a ton of it to cover your face. I bought this on a whim and am glad I did so!

i went to CVS because i had a spontaneous breakout and wanted to get a quick fix. i saw the words "clear skin" on this and snatched it up. it really didn't do anything for me - i have queen helene's mint julep masque and it works a lot better than this. it didn't break me out or cause any irritation, but it didn't do anything either.. it might've soothed and calmed my skin down temporarily but that's about it. will not repurchase but will use up until it's done.

I had high hopes for this product, but it was wayyyyy too harsh on my skin...! The mask felt good and luxurious going on and it definitely deep cleaned and shrunk my pores, but left my skin stripped of all its natural oil. I usually have oily skin, but this left my face with super dry, flaky patches that have taken days to go back to normal. My skin is also sensitive and the amount of lycopene was a little too much for me as it stung my face for the 5 minutes it was on. Disappointed because from it's key ingredients, it seemed gentle enough but oh well... not for me.
