This is one of my all time favourite Yankee scents. It's definitely the perfect girly candle, light and sweet and strawberry. I love sickly sweet things and this candle definitely fits that bill. However I find it isn't too overbearing, because some obnoxiously sweet things can be, but this is nice, light and airy and perfectly good at making a room smell pretty. Definitely not one for those who aren't particularly fond of sweeter smells. However I will definitely be buying again and would recommend.

"Yum ... an absolutely luscious treat of plump, sweet strawberries buried in rich whipped cream" - i get a light strawberry scent from this candle, i get a slight (very slight) scent of sugar, which is meant to be the buttercream, it's a lovely daytime spring/summer scent.

Strawberry Buttercream has a light, airy strawberry scent; it has less of an artificial smell than Sweet Strawberry. This creamy scent has quite a small throw, and is probably strongest in tart form. As a fruit scent, Strawberry Buttercream is obviously not a winner for those who enjoy more refreshing or spicy scents. I have repurchased this, and would do so again.

I bought this in the votive, and i can agree 100% with the person who posted below me. The scent is light, but i would get it again.

this scent is literally mind-blowing when smelt unlit, but when it's lit, it doesn't deliver that same 'ohmygosh!'
instead it delivers, a subtle, smokey, waxy, pleasant milky strawberry. i have no complaints really, i mean it doesn't instantly make my room smell once i have lit it (like the 'lemon lavender'), but when i walk in and out my room i do notice the scent and it is a pleasant candle.

the reason i am a little disappointed, is that it smells different to its jar-opening, first impression and doesn't live up to it when it actually performs.
don't buy this is you have smelt this unlit and it has blown you away, but do buy this if the above description sounds appealing to you!
won't buy again.
