I love this brush! I use it for bronzer/contouring and blush. When I use it for bronzer and contouring I use the tip of the brush, and when I use it for blush I use the flat side and just sweep it across my cheeks - works perfectly! I've got a blush which before I never seemed to be able to apply lightly and without creating hard edges. With this brush the blush looks so natural and perfectly blended on my cheeks.
This is my absolute favorite brush in my kit and I will definitly buy other Real Techniques brushes. At the moment I have my eye on the Expert Face Brush :)

Perfect in every way except it's too big for my cheeks.... if only there's a mini version!

Real Techniques brushes are so good! I use this brush for bronzer and powder and it works beautifully! It doesn't shed at all and the brush is so soft. Oh, I love how the brush is tapered. I hope Sam comes up with more brushes because her brushes are one of my favorite (besides EcoTools & Sonia Kashuk). continued >>

I really thought this would be my perfect blush brush, however, having used it for about a month now, I have found it does not pick up pigment well at all :(. It is great for highly pigmented blushes, but for normal ones the brush just applies no colour to my cheeks. Such a shame because I love everything else about the brush, it is soo soft, great shape, looks pretty, and fits my cheeks well! I may have to use this brush for contour/bronzer.. though I bought the powder brush for that eek!

I like to try all and any intriguing makeup products, brushes included. As far as brushes go I also own high end MAC brushes, Sephora brushes, Bobbi Brown brushes and even Costco brushes. These fall sort of mid range.
First of the Pros:
1.) Attractive dome shape
2.) Soft (probably best for pigmented high end blushes)
3.) Dries quickly after a wash
4.) Doesn't shed
5.) Great price
Cons:-
1.) A little too soft (probably hard to apply less pigmented DS blushes)
2.) Thick handle makes it hard to put it on the a holder.
I'm intrigued enough to try out the other brushes in Sam's Real Techniques line.

This brush is soft and fluffy and considering it's synthetic, I find it dries pretty quickly after being washed. That being said, it was too big for me to use as a blush brush and doesn't pick up much product. Fortunately, this makes it an excellent brush to apply a light dusting of powder to set foundation and tone down shine. I personally like the stand-up bottom, but if you store your brushes in a cup, I can see it being a bit cumbersome. Overall, though, a great brush for the price and I'd repurchase it if I lost it. Side note: Since the end tapers in, I suppose you could just use the tip to apply blush. I, however, just love how soft it is, so I have a tendency to squish this brush all over my face, lol.

To my surprise, I really liked this brush. Its so soft, so much more compared to Everyday minerals and eco tools. So fluffy, did a great job on applying my blusher. Its not as big as I thought it was from the reviews I've seen, perfect for blush.
The bristles are rounded to a point, so it makes applying blush a breeze. I really love this brush. Originally i got this brush for all over powder thinking it'll be very big, but its not.
The only thing I don't like is that its made wider at the end so that it can stand on the table. Who stands brushes on tables, it'll just topple over all the time. This is really annoying and takes up alot of space in my mug i use to hold my makeup brushes. I really hate it. Much prefer a black handle like Mac.

This is a nice brush, however not so much for its intended purpose. It's really too large for applying blush (in my opinion!) so I use it for loose powder instead. It works well for that, but not any better than my ecotools brush, and the ecotools one costs less. I rather like the design of the handle and the way it stands upright on its own. It sheds several hairs the first few times you wash it; nothing major. Otherwise, no complaints & I'd recommend it to someone who's looking for an affordable powder brush. continued >>

Great blush brush. I have been pretty loyal to MAC brushes for years, but I am loving the RT brushes right now. I bought the stippling brush, powder brush, and blush brush. I have been using all 3 daily since I got them, even over my MAC brushes. The best part is they are super affordable, like $10 each. The blush brush is really big compared to most blush brushes, but once I got used to it, I loved it. It gives a natural diffused flush. I haven't had any shedding issues at all with it. Love!

Love this brush! Super soft (like all the RT brushes) and has not shed a single hair. I really like the shape for applying blush. I am fair, and its perfect for just applying a little product and building it up if you like. Amazing brush for the price.

No shedding at all! I find this is a perfect shape for my cheeks,it carries the product well and i can use this brush for bronzing. Supper soft and nicely packaged. I payed £10 for this brush not dirt cheap and not expensive. I've recommended this to my sister and my friend. Nice job on the brushes Sam!

Update: I've found this works best as a bronzer.
The shape of the domed blush looked smaller when it was in the package, but when I took it out to use it, it got more fluffier, thus, less easy to apply blush to certain areas of my cheeks. As all the other reviews has stated, this brush is very high quality, nicely packaged, and SOOOO CUTE!!! But is it worth it to sacrifice looks over functionality? Well that's up to you. I didn't plan on getting this, but i needed to spend another 6 bucks at ulta to use the $3.50 off coupon. So I chose this as a filler. I'm not going to return it, because i'm going to choose looks over functionality for this one and plus it was cheap and i used a coupon. But based on functionality, it deserves only 2 lippies. I end up having two huge blobs of blush on my face. It would have been better if the brush was smaller for applying blush, but I wished it was bigger to apply powder. So far I havent found something to use it for, so it's just standing upright looking pretty on my vanity. Also, the bulky bottom is not practical since all of my brushes are stuck in a glass jar filled with rice.
I recommend buying the ecotools blush brush. That one applies blush wonderfully and places the blush where you want it to be.

This brush would have been a great brush if it was smaller. I do like how it comes to a domed point. The bristles are very soft and fluffy and because of that it does not pick up as much blush as some of my other brushes. I think this brush would work better as an airbrush foundation brush - especially since the hair is synthetic. Synthetic hair does not absorb as much foundation as natural hair does.

This brush is a dream. It's cute and pink, stands on its own, is super soft, doesn't shed, is perfectly shaped for applying blush to the apples of your cheeks, and it's price is soo cheap. Seriously cannot find one fault and it could have a higher end brand name stamped onto it for sure. It seems to just airbrush my blush right onto my cheeks, I never have any harsh lines or get an uneven look.

This is such a great brush for the price. After 15+ washes it has retained its original shape and looks exactly how it did when I bought it. Like another reviewer said, this brush (along with all of the other Real Techniques brushes I have) have not shed one hair throughout continuous use and washing. This brush is great for picking up color and diffusing it on to the cheekbones - it blends without you having to do any of the work!

I have been using this brush every day since I bought it two months ago because I just can't go back to using anything else. I've washed it many times and it still looks exactly as it did in the store, I don't think one bristle has fallen out. It's very soft, it has a nice shape and a slightly pointed tip which makes application more precise. It can stand on its own which might bother some people but I'm okay with it. Considering the high quality and how affordable it is I think it's more than worth having it in your collection.

This is a very nice brush that could be used for more than just blush. It'd be great with regular powder too. Nice and soft but not so soft it won't blend color nicely. The shape of it is gorgeous!

I wanted this brush for a while now but it was always sold out when I looked for it or I just figured I didn't need it. I finally got it and I was initially disappointed when I opened it because it felt different than expected. It felt cheaper or more plastic than other brushes that looked similar or used similar bristles, but I was wrong. No other blush brush I have used performs or feels the same way on my face. It is gentle but not annoyingly and pointlessly too soft. The shape applies brush extraordinarily well, applying it and blending it without wiping it off. I like it better than my MAC brushes (129, 182, 165, 109) for blush application and would repurchase.
UPDATE: I washed the brush for the second time and experienced A LOT of shedding. Not just a few strands, but a few chunks. I am always very careful about how I wash and dry my brushes because I know water in the ferrule of the brush is harmful, so I think it is definitely the brush. I still love it and am going to assume that I got a defective one, but it is important to note just in case others are experiencing this too.
