Crap. I bought this just for dark circles because I don't really have any puffiness or anything and this eye cream said brightening so I thought it would probably be best. It has no effect! I mean, it might be moisturizing (haven't really checked) but it does not work on dark circles at all. I'm so annoyed I spent this much money on it cuz I don't really have a lot of money lol

This is only my first attempt at reducing dark circles, so maybe i'm missing out on some much better products out there, given the bad reviews this has received. However, for me, within a couple of days I noticed an improvement. Maybe my eye area was just dry and this helped with the darkness, I don't know, but it seems to work really well for me. Given the criticism though, when this is empty I'll probs try something else to see the difference. Although, having said that, a little of this stuff goes a really long way!

Got this in a sample pack at Ulta. Def would not buy it on it's own. It's expensive and my dark circles haven't improved.

The eye cream is horrible despite the cute packaging. I used it for about 2 weeks and found out the fine lines under my eyes are actually getting worse. Beside, it irritates my eyes badly.

First off, I have a love/hate relationship with Benefit. I love a lot of their products, but they have a habit of disregarding what they're good at and sticking their hands where they don't belong in the cosmetic world. I have to admit, I wasn't very thrilled when I found out that Benefit was coming out with a full skincare line. Other than some of their makeup removers (which are awesome) the rest of their skin products have been mediocre if not completely useless. This proved to be no different. It goes on smooth and sinks in relatively quickly considering how thick it is, but it does not help dark circles, puffiness or dehydration. I can't say anything for wrinkles since I'm only 25 and have yet to spot my first one. But with the ingredient list and the fact that Benefit has no patents of their own, I can't imagine this being superior even equal to a doctor brand or even some of the homemade recipes for eye care. Also the fragrance is kind of annoying. It hasn't bothered me, but I just don't see the point of it in skincare. That being said, I love the little jar. It was so girly and delicate I had to find a way to reuse it. I make my own facial balm that I use after my weekly home facial. It only lasts 4 months and I only use it once a week, so this little jar is just the right size to hold 3-4 months worth of my balm. Hence, the two star rating as opposed to a one star. Most of my other jars are so boring so this was at least one way that I found that gives this jar a little bit of a silver lining.

I like the jar this product comes in and the consistency of the product, but that's about it. The cream makes my eyes burn so badly, even when I apply a little away from too close to my eyes. I haven't noticed any improvement. When I want my eyes hydrated and lines repaired, I need something that means business without making me go blind.
Cute little jar though.

For $32 for only a half an ounce I expect more. This is just a basic rich eye cream. I gave it 3 weeks of daily/nightly use to be fair (and try to at least get some of my moneys worth) I can't use it during the day because its too greasy and makeup doesn't want to adhere. Can't use at night because I wake up with very puffy eyes (vaseline does the same thing). A little does go a long way.......to nowhere. If you have super dry flaky eyes then this may be your ticket. For me I'm not that desperate. No effect at all for dark circles but added bags. I love the cute jar but its all looks no substance. Also Parabens is way up the list of ingredients. Not an issue for me per se but is a deal breaker for many. I added the ingredients to the link but in case it didn't work...here it is...(a lot of fluff for something ineffective...less is more Benefit!)

Didn't like it.. Gave me these small little white pumps around my eye area. I usually get those from over hydration.

I bought this just for moisturizing and I love it! I get really dry skin under my eyes. I live in a dry climate and when fall arrives, my undereye area looks flaky. I use this morning & night and it keeps my skin moisturized better than any other eye cream I've used. I can put concealer on later and it's still moisturized. I haven't noticed a change in dark circles. For what I wanted this to do, it's perfect. Plus Benefit always gets me with their packaging. It's really cute sitting on my bathroom counter. continued >>

I got this sample few months ago and I have been using it on and off. Whenever I used it my eye lids got oilier... Not moisterized but oilier. It's definitely not a day time eye cream.

I think it might be a good moisturizer for people who has really dry eyes, but definitely didn't work on my eyes. I have got a few millia after using this, so I just leave it aside. The scent was good and fresh, oh and just so you know it didn't irritate my eye when i applied it on eyes, so I think there is no alcohol in the product, which is good:)
And I think it would be better if this use in winter I assume.

I'm surprised so many people found this eye cream unhelpful, maybe it works better with certain skin types, who knows?
My experience with this product has been excellent! I'm only 18 so don't have to worry about fine lines quite yet, but i've noticed a huge difference in the darkness under my eyes, it's evened out the 'bruising' effect and is very gentle on my sensitive skin. It also just feel very luxurious to use and along with Benefit's 'Triple Performing Facial Emulsion' leaves my skin looking fresh and glowing.
On the down side, it's expensive for what it is, you could probably get a similar product for half the price, but I love the Benefit brand so am prepared to pay that bit extra now and again :)

I used up the generous sample pot over a few weeks. It moisturised well without causing spots but there was no reduction in my dark circles.

I have the worst dark circles ever so I was looking for a product that would fade them since I don't like wearing concealer (it pulls on my already sensitive skin). I read some positive reviews of this so I decided to try it out despite the relatively high price tag. But even though it's a bit costly, the product last for awhile. Unfortunately, I haven't seen results yet. Granted, it's only been a week but I guess I was hoping for something a little more drastic. I've been applying it day and night and my dark circles as still as obvious as ever. The product also stings a little when I apply it too close to my waterline. I'll keep trying it and see how it works out, I guess.

I have been using this eye cream now for about a month and I am pleased with the results. It's not the best eye cream out there but it's not the worst. I admit the beautiful packaging was a selling point.
I have sensitive eyes and it has not irritated them at all---big bonus! This absorbs quickly and a little goes a long way. I am in my early 30's and this cream doesn't do anything to repair or stop fine lines, however, I have noticed that some of the darkness under my eyes has diminished. I had hoped that this cream would firm but it does nothing in the firming department. This is certainly a few steps above the Eyecon cream.
For someone who is trying to repair or stop aging around the eyes, this may not be the best option. It' s just a really basic eye cream that does lightening the under eye area and moisturizes quite well.

I got the chance to try out the eye cream since I was on a hunt to find the perfect one, sadly it didn't work at all for me, it made my dark circles darker and after a week I started seeing some blue veins under my eye. had to take it back for a refund. too bad cause I really like how it hydrated the area under my eyes.

Been using this day and night for around 2 month's now, it's moisturising and has a nice texture but can't say I've noticed any change with my dark circles. It's an ok eye-cream but for the price, I expected much more.

Was practically forced by a sephora saleswomen to buy this product. She said it was fantastic for hydrating the skin around my eyes and reducing dark circles. I have been using this everyday for around six weeks no and have noticed no improvements whatsoever. Very disappointed as u had high hopes for this product, especially considering the cost. Most definitely will not be repurchasing any time soon

It was potent upon first application, but did little to resolve wrinkles and the fading of dark circles was kind of superficial. I'll still use it up but no repurchase.

Very disappointed with this product. I've used it day and night for the past two months and haven't noticed a bit of difference in my dark circles.
As another user said, it's a nice moisturizer for your under eye, but at $32 for a half ounce...no way.
If you're looking for a cure for dark circles, this is not it.
