This was on big sale at Sephora so I picked it up. The white plastic with black design looks cheap, although it came nicely packaged with tissue paper and a box. The colors aren't entirely daytime/work wearable, they are rather shimmery, comparable to Urban Decay. Like UD, the shadows are super silky and apply nicely. I wore primer and the shadow lasted all day. I found it easier to blend than UD, but the color didn't stay as intense. I didn't think I'd be able to wear the blues, but I can, as long as I use them for crease/liner, not all over lid color. The white creamy thing with glitter is hard to apply and looks weird. Overall I like her shadows, I would buy again, but something with more matte colors.
It was on sale because the cheaply looking white packaging has been redesigned and updated.

It's a nice product, but there's a lot of fallout from Leather. I also really dislike the shimmery aspect to almost every shade. I might find them a bit more wearable for school and every day than now.
Again, as I said, nice palatte, just wish there wasn't so much 'pearl' to it.

I just picked this us 3 days ago and i fell in love. The colors are wonderful, and there is really no need for primer, the color stays and lasts all day.I would highly recommend this palette definately worth 34 bucks.

I've got all the Kat Von D True Romance palettes except Adora which I heard it was awful. A warning is that if you already own tons of the prior palettes like me, there are three repeats in here: Leather was in both the Ludwig and Beethoven palettes, Rehab was in the Truth palette, and Peggy was in the Momento Mori palette.
All these eyeshadows are very pigmented and nearly true to the photo here. They're very creamy with minimal power fallout. I always use a primer so this is no problem for me. The true dud is always the cream eyeshadow which is even more awful than usual in this palette. It's very greasy and tacky. The description of the colors themselves is very misleading and some are completely inaccurate so here they are as I feel they appear:
Venus - a shimmery coppery penny bronze with orangey undertones
Leather - a matte semi-dark neutral chocolate brown with no red undertone whatsoever
Specimen - a shimmery neutral toasted mocha brown that leans towards the warm side
Rehab - a very shimmery warm beige pink
Peggy - a shimmery teal leaning on the green side with gold shimmer
Bukowski - a shimmery darker teal except it leans on the blue side and has no gold shimmer
Bellbottom - a shimmery blue lavender that reminds me of whitewashed blue jeans
Morphine - a practically almost clear "white" cream with chunks of blue glitter
Along with the other palettes, the brushes that come are useless; I guess they would good for lining the eyes with the darker colors but otherwise I've never used them.
