HOLY CRAPOLY!!! these shadows are so extremely amazing!! they are seriously up there w/ UD or other HE. i dont own HE makeup but have spent alot of time in stores swatching & playing around to know these are superb!
=PRICE/AVAILABILITY=
The 3 Color Trios are newer to the LA Color line at least in my area. They have recently been added to the selection at my local Dollar Tree stores in a few shades. So check out your local Dollar Trees or Dollar Generals. The trios will only cost you $1-$1.50 which is incredibly cheap & makes it so much better! bc i can buy all of the available shades & even backups of all of them.
=SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE=
Southern Belle is a great bright vivid youthful trio that normally i wouldnt pick up bc im a neutral girl but i was drawn in to the bright beautiful colors. In the trio there is 3 colors from left to right-
Purple- this is a true darkened purple. its a metallic chromatic purple thats so different than most of my purples. so bright & pretty
Blue- this is gorgeous carribean sea blue. its metallic finish. bright & pretty
Teal- this is another unique shadow since i dont have too many teals esp one this bright & pigmented. metallic but gorgeous
All three colors i could never wear alone since theyre so bright & vivid. they all have a metallic finish or a sheen to them. all of these shadows are super soft & butter smooth. so much better than even the Loreal HIP metallic shadows which cost a fortune but still great. The shadows are pressed well. Apply so nicely w/ even fingers or any brush/applicator. They almost feel like a foiled shadow. The blend so nicely. Dont disappear on the lid. I love wearing these colors on lower lash line for a color pop. They go on well & wear phenomenally. If worn on top of a primer these will stay fresh for hours & hours. even longer if paired w/ a cream base. I think these perform better than most of my other d/s shadows. They perform & feel & even look so much like UD shadows. its great to try these amazing shadows w/out being in a store or just admiring. These are def a must have for me & Southern Belle is a great trio for color pop or just to have a fun trio of bright vivid colors!! even me a neutral shadow lover, these are so nice to play with. Great shades & they stay on so well.
=PACKAGING=
The packaging isnt the best but its still holds the shadows safely which is what i care most about. The trios come in a plastic rectangular compact. The back is a glossy black w/ sticker w/ logo/product & shade name. The lid is clear see thru plastic w/ la colors logo. The inside is where the 3 circular pan shadows are stored. The pans are mac sized so they are 28mm which is a great size/amount of shadow. & esp since these shadows are super pigmented that theyll last forever since you only need a tiny dab. Bottom is a slot where they include a double ended foam tip applicator. Its not so bad. Simple packaging but what can you expect when you pay $1. ive traveled with this & no breaking or cracking. Sturdy & simple.
Overall, Southern Belle is my go to trio when i want to add some color to a neutral look. These trios are seriously the best & id suggest you trying at least one!! theyre incredible!! continued >>

My first impression of this palette was "how in the world am I going to wear this?" But I like putting color on my lower lash line and that's how I use these. The colors in this trio are a dark purple, a darker teal blue, and a light aqua color. They are pigmented and last a good amount of time! Lately L.A. colors has stepped up their game!

3 Awesome Colors in one small tin! These colors remind me so much of the colors that are in the UD Book of Shadows 3 edition. They glisten without the sparkles. I do love that!. This palette has a darker shade of purple that goes on very sheer if you want it to or darker if you layer it. There is a blue that looks very close to UD and compliments it great when paired together. Then this green that is so close to the green in UD, the lighter green one, can't recall what that one is & I am too lazy to go look see. ;-)
L.A. Color did a great job at combining the 3 colors in each of the palettes! You can actually grab this little guy and do your whole eye makeup if you want to! Excellent combo used together IMO. I am loving both the ones I have opened and used so far. I have two more to try and I already know if they are anything like the first 2, I am going to be very pleased. I love having colors that blend easy & colors I can use with my UD palettes. I mean colors that actually match as far as the texture, quality of color & the amount of light that is shown through after application. Great little colors from L.A. Colors.
I will be buying more when I am able & find the rest. continued >>
